Dr. Brownstein has a great book my dad is reading about arthritis. I
can't remember the name, but he has cured a lot of people with his protocol.

I think his clinic is called Center for Holistic Medicine. It is in
Michigan. He has written a book about Iodine and developed the Iodine
Protocol
as well. Awesome stuff!

RE: CSrheumatoid arthritis

2011-10-30 Thread Donna M Lewis
If you do get a prescription for it, a good compounding pharmacy to use is
Skip's in Florida. They're cheap and their customer service is great. They
also know their stuff. They're even happy to change the filler to one of
your choice if need be.

Also remember that LDN is an Opioid blocker so drugs like Vicodin etc won't
work while you're taking LDN. So, if you need to go in for a procedure like
a colonoscopy etc, you need to stop taking the LDN for a while beforehand.
I had to have a colonoscopy and I was told that com ing off LDN for a couple
of days beforehand would be enough. I don't think it was. While I wasn't
in any pain, I was completely aware of what was happening to me and can
still remember everything that went on during the procedure and that was
approximately 2 years ago. I think that if I had been off the LDN for a
couple of weeks then the sedation would have been more effective.

[RE]CSrheumatoid arthritis

2009-07-04 Thread Brooks Bradley
Hello Reid,
In reviewing my enormous email back-log, prior to Deleting the majority, I noticed this post regarding a friend of yours.addressing CS as a possible effective protocol.
We have never effected ANY detectable benefit from CS as an arthritis protocol. However, we have had most effective response to nearly all arthritic challenges (most especially involving the articulating joints of the body) using the following protocol...sometimes with minor derivatives. Basically, here it is...in summary.all measures are Daily doses. MSM, 4000 mg daily (in powder form equivalent, or capsuleswe DO NOT recommend experimenters to use tablet form, as many people.especially those beyond 60 years of age cannot properly utilize them because tablet-forms,many times, do not properly dissolve in the alimentary tract (actually, being passed-through intact a large portion of the time). CMO (Cetyl Myristoleate ), 1800 mg, approximately, divided into 3 doses
(preferably, taken, 1 hour before or after each meal). 2000 mg Glucosamine Sulphate, taken in one dose...at ones convenience. 1200 mg of Chondroitin Sulphate (or any common form of plain gelatin---such as Knox powdered gelatin). Additionally, we employed the use of topically applied DMSO, 75% strength @ 75% volume X Emu Oil (undiluted) @ 25% volume of the total mixture. Applications were made a minimum of twice daily. Additionally, we utilized LED ARRAYS (10 to 15 bulbs @ 3500 mcd each, applied touching---or nearly so---the affected area. The length of time of exposure varied from 10 to 15 minutes per session.
Although we have achieved excellent results using Rife-type Plasma Generators, sometimes in lieu of the LED array, the cost of such a device is, many times, prohibitive.
even in those cases involving of "home-made" units. The LED arrays yielded benefits
almost as effective as our Rife-Type generators, they were an order-of-magnitude less costly. (e.g. The cost of almost any genuinely effective Rife Plasma-Type generator will
be $1500 dollarsin parts). The cost of a very effective LED array containing 10 3500 mcd bulbs, is less than $75.00.
While did find the use of Boron supplements effective( the amount that adheres to the first joint of the moistened index finger when dipped into a container of powdered 20 Mule Team Borax...is quite sufficient as a daily support) we employed them in a more limited number of evaluations. However, the results were, sometimes, spectacular in nature...and this when the other protocols had reached the limit of their effectiveness. Our research has revealed that Boron is a much-maligned element and many untruths/spins as to its "supposedly" lethal toxicity have permeated the scientific (so-called) literaturefor decades. The vast majority of these denigrating claims are totally unsupported by detailed research. While Boron is, in truth, a trace-element requirement.it is a VERY important one and possesses a high LD number-much, much larger than is generally publicized. I have used this little Boron supplement, prophylactic-type, support for the immediately-!
past 10 years.with nothing but excellent results.especially in increasing "range-of-motion and relieving bursitis-type ancillary components.
I know this response is quite "after-the-fact" in nature, but I truly believe the information warrants consideration.
Best Regards, Brooks.
p.s. While anecdotal in nature, it might be of interest to you to note that the simple addition of the little boron supplement GREATLY improved the bone density of our female volunteers (most especially those over 60 years of age).

Re: CSrheumatoid arthritis

2009-06-22 Thread Marshall Dudley
Gold salts have been used for decades ( from when Edgar Cayce originally
spoke of them in his readings), but are pretty toxic. There was
discussion if colloidal gold would prove to be as effective as the salts
without the toxcidity. I am not sure if we ever determined if colloidal
gold was effective or not. I believe there were some discussions and
concerns on whether it would cross the blood brain barrier and cause
any problems as well. I think that once it became obvious how difficult
it was to generate colloidal gold, the discussion died out.

  Hi Everybody,

I'm recalling that colloidal gold is supposed to be effective against

rheumatoid arthritis, and am hopeful that someone can give me some account of
this. I have a friend who could be helped greatly by this remedy. And can
someone tell me how/ if it's true that the colloidal gold gives a sense of well
being?

  Thanks!

I wonder if, with your many symptoms and problems, if you might want to
look into fasting (long fasts either with juice or water). This is
supposed to be the actual cure for all diseases.

It is difficult and could be somewhat dangerous for some people so it
would be good to do it under some sort of supervision. One would not be
able to work and do a proper water fast, in my opinion...

I firmly believe Rheumatoid arthritis, Lupus, MS and most auto
immunine diseases begin from the same sourcemycoplasma:

Well, I've seen RA and Lupus go away without treating mycoplasma.

Using glyconutrients, detox, cold-processed whey and nutritional
support may have allowed the body to recognize the mycoplasma and
deal with it, but we were essentially only treating toxin load and
the reason for the autoimmune process.

The same protocols worked for inclusion body myositis, an autoimmune
wasting disorder that is supposed to be fatal in four years.

Sol, if you have to take ibuprofen, I suggest taking a chelated

Nightshades don't seem to be a bother to me. I have had a

to be a problem for me. Is annatto a nightshade? I know it is a
common allergen. Right now, I do eat some nightshades as they
are some of the only veg I'm not allergic to for other reasons.

I have just had bloodtests to rule out RA or Lupus, though my
online research seems to indicate that people who do not have
positive Rheumatoid factor blood tests can still have the
disease, and people who are positive for RF don't always have
it. So I likely wasted my time and had 9 x-rays for nothing. I
have some symtpoms of both, but not all. Over the past 15 or
more years I've had problems in different joints, hands,
wrists, elbows, feet, hips, now it is my knees that are the
problem. A couple of times I have barely been able to get
around, even with canes. I have been working on suspected
underlying causes for the past two + years, but have made only
minimal progress in the joint problems, GI problems are
significantly better though.

I may just have to self-treat for RA and see if I improve. This
could also be Fibromyalgia or one of the many other related
mysterious conditions. It doesn't seem to be anything
definitive enough for a real medical diagnosis. So it is very
frustrating. The orthopedic doc will likely push for
arthroscopy but I don't want that.

Meantime he has said no walking and maybe I could do swimming
for excercise, but I can't because of eczema. I have no doubt
whatsoever that pool chlorine and chemicals would set off the
eczema horribly, because of the drying, if nothing else.

Meantime I'm supposed to take 3 Ibuprofen 3 times a day, for
two weeks. I don't normally do MDs anymore, but I was hoping
for a diagnosis I could then use to self-treat. I doubt I'll
make the full two weeks of the ibuprofen trial though, doubt my
stomach will take it.
I will likely return to MSM and yucca, and homeopathic pain
relievers. If I could just get a diagnosis, I could target
everything a whole lot more effectively. There has just got to

Yes, actually you and I have talked about this previously, and *spoke*

I'll keep you posted. The part of it I had not been doing when trying
high dose msm months ago was the vit c part. This time the proper amount
recommended of ester C is being taken along with the msm. I am at 4000
mg or 5000 mg now, gradually increasing.

Of course, you could use the powders and stir in juice of choice--only make
sure you're at this large minimum dose in order for effective relief.

Re: CSRheumatoid arthritis or Lupus

2004-12-08 Thread Lea Ann
Hello Sol,

I am new to colloidal silver and at the same time discovered colloidal gold.

Colloidal Gold is supposed to be good for:
1.. Reducing the swelling and pain of arthritis
  2.. Brain function
  3.. Obesity
  4.. Blood circulation
  5.. Improving digestion
  6.. Rejuvenating sluggish organs
7.. Emotional conditions including depression and anxiety
8.. Promote healthier skin and the healing of skin ulcers
9.. Promote the healing of burns
There are a bunch of testimonials here:
http://www.colloidalgold.com/refroom.htm
most of the testimonials seem to be that it improves mental ability and
outlook but there are references to arthritis as well.

Found this at this website: http://www.purestcolloids.com/mesogold.htm

  Colloidal Gold
In the nineteenth century, Colloidal Gold was commonly used in the United
States to cure alcoholism (then called dipsomania, defined as the
uncontrollable craving for alcoholic liquors), and today it is used to reduce
dependency on alcohol, caffeine, nicotine, and carbohydrates. Colloidal Gold
has a balancing and harmonizing effect on all levels of body, mind, and spirit.
It is used to improve mental attitude and treat unstable mental and emotional
states such as depression, melancholy, sorrow, fear, despair, anguish,
frustration, suicidal tendencies, seasonal affective disorder (S.A.D.), poor
memory, poor concentration, and many other imbalances in mind and spirit.
Colloidal gold increases energy and libido. It also relieves attention deficit
disorder, and improves will power and mental focus. Other traditional
treatments include arthritis, obesity, skin ulcers, puncture wounds, nerve
damage (neuropathy), detoxification, motor skills, restless leg syndrome,
hyperactivity, poor eyesight, and poor hand-eye coordination. It is also used
to alleviate the wasting and malnutrition associated with chronic diseases.

Sorry if this is too off-topic for a silver list... I just thought the
colloidal part makes it relevant?

If this is too off topic... Here are some good lists for discussing colloidal
gold: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/cg_exchange/ (focuses mainly on making CG)
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CG_exchange2/ (discussion of using CG)

2004-12-08 Thread Yogiboy
Hi Sol,
You'll have to excuse my ignorance. I developed a left knee problem back
in April. It has become much better but still having intermittent aches.
Sometimes weather is a factor, sometimes sedentary inactivity. I
practice yoga and when done mindfully I have found it does help relieve
pain.
I did a few typical medical procedures and still nothing really. No
structural damage that can be seen, not even an MRI detected much.
There might be some inflammation behind some fatty tissue, inconclusive
at best. A sports therapist thinks it's an IT band issue along the
side of my leg running down just past the knee. The constant bending he
thinks is what is causing the aggravation.
I am still not sure if it is a physical problem, or if it has been
brought on by dietary neglect. Went to a nutritionist didn't work. I
don't believe it is RA. I don't have any inflammation, in the joint or
surrounding area.
Still haven't got a clue. Got any ideas?

In regards to your situation, I suppose without sounding silly, believe
you have to over come your iodine allergy? The thyroid really does need
this. Have you tried Homeopathy?

Just a suggestion.. :-)

Hi Sol,

Sorry to read of your allergies and problems. Regarding the Chlorine in pool
chemicals--my son has a hot tub which he enjoys nightly to relieve pain from
his Army Desert Storm injuries--I had been supplying him CS, CCu (colloidal
copper) and H2O2 which he used with great success to replace regular harmful
pool chemicals. Recently he found a Copper/Silver Bar that he purchased and
uses and reports great success and comfort without chemical irritation. They
also make such bars in larger sizes for use in pools--I suggest you inquire
with pool suppliers and pool owners where you swim to see if they might have
changed their preventive maintenance. Perhaps even sell them on the
advantages so they, too, can enjoy their swims without skin irritation.

problem. A couple of times I have barely been able to get around, even
with canes. I have been working on suspected underlying causes for the
past two + years, but have made only minimal progress in the joint
problems, GI problems are significantly better though.

I may just have to self-treat for RA and see if I improve. This could
also be Fibromyalgia or one of the many other related mysterious
conditions. It doesn't seem to be anything definitive enough for a
real medical diagnosis. So it is very frustrating. The orthopedic doc
will likely push for arthroscopy but I don't want that.

Meantime he has said no walking and maybe I could do swimming for
excercise, but I can't because of eczema. I have no doubt whatsoever
that pool chlorine and chemicals would set off the eczema horribly,
because of the drying, if nothing else.

Meantime I'm supposed to take 3 Ibuprofen 3 times a day, for two weeks.
I don't normally do MDs anymore, but I was hoping for a diagnosis I
could then use to self-treat. I doubt I'll make the full two weeks of
the ibuprofen trial though, doubt my stomach will take it.
I will likely return to MSM and yucca, and homeopathic pain relievers.
If I could just get a diagnosis, I could target everything a whole lot
more effectively. There has just got to be an underlying cause of all
this whole complex of problems. Doesn't there? The food allergies I
already have complicate every attempt to deal with things via diet
though. My iodine allergy is the worst. Without the iodine allergy there
is a lot I could do via diet. But I can't get rid of it or haven't been
able to so far (20 years).

We've had the same types of reports for MSM. We've found that in most cases
when people aren't getting results, it's because they aren't taking enough.
For people with RA type problems, we usually suggest at least 1000mg. per 30
pounds of body weight, taken twice a day. At that level, most people tell
us they start feeling much better within a week or so.

I firmly believe Rheumatoid arthritis, Lupus, MS and most auto immunine
diseases begin from the same sourcemycoplasma:
www.rain-tree.com/myco.htm . If you tke copious amounts of CS (16 oz. of
home made) on a continous basis, you will get excellent results. It is not
instant, but withing a few weeks you will begin to see improvement. My two
friendws were pretty much clear of Lupus after about 6 months. Three people
I know with rheumatoid arthritis take about 3-4 oz. a day, but they take it
continually. It works! Just have a littlepatience.

a lot of people have shown interest in finding out how I do on my new
arthritis protocol. I found this protocol in a publication put out by the
arthritis trust of America. They maintain that rheumatoid arthritis is
caused by either the
limax amoeba, or cell wall deficient Candida albicans. I have just taken
my second day of metronidazole. I'm supposed to take 2250 mg after supper
for two days, and then take five days off. The cycle then begins again.
This protocol is to go on for at least six weeks. If I am still showing
signs of die off by that time, the protocol should continue until I am well.
If I showed no signs of die off by the end of three weeks then I have wasted
my time and money. Right now after my second dose, I have a general feeling
of blahness and I am feeling the beginning of a die off. I will probably
know more by tomorrow as it usually takes two or three days for herx
symptoms to show themselves in my joints. Wish me luck!

Glucosamine by itself is very ineffective for treating cartilage
problems. You really need to combine the Chondrotin with it.

Where does this information about Chondrotin come from?

normal operating systems (at least in our investigations).

Hi, Re: this post to the CS list - What type/Brand? of Magnetic Pulsar are
you using? The only one I have tried(borrowed), did very little for me.
Would like positive feedback on a specific unit before I invest on my own.
Thanks very much for your time - and this post.
If MY toe(s), could get some relief via this route, I will be much
 appreciative!
 Ann

I am not sure of the type of arthritis I have,
but the burning sensation in my big toe joint which is
sometimes severe, can be helped greatly by pulsing
with my magnetic pulser. This device puts out a very
strong, very brief, blast of magnetism. It goes out
about every 6 seconds. And it really takes the fire
  of painful joints.pj
