Has anyone in the group had good results with C.S. & what protocol did you use…?
Also, how long did it take..?

You might want to check into the work of Dr. Berkson who has helped people 
in similar shape with high doses of milk thistle, ALA and a third ingredient 
which escapes me right now...maybe selenium. He helped liver transplant 
candidates become free of their condition and their need for transplants.

The immune system needs to be calmed down so it doesn't over-react and
destroy the body's own tissue.

 

There are many reasons why the body does this. Two chief culprits are
infections from microorganisms such as Mycoplasma, and the ingestion of
glutinous grains. The microbes that don't have cells walls of their own,
burrow into the cells and the body no longer recognizes its own transformed
tissue. Similarly, the proteins in gluten irritate the body's tissues and
the immune system goes into hyper-drive and starts attacking the body.

 

Gluten is found in wheat, barley, rye, and sometimes oats (which themselves
don't contain gluten but which can be contaminated by grains that are
glutinous).

 

Transfer Factor helps modulate the immune system. This means boost it when
it's under-functioning, and CALM IT DOWN when it's hyperactive. I also think
it's a good idea to avoid gluten in all its forms.

 

Another factor is heavy metals. Mercury is notorious for provoking
autoimmune responses. Plus, the liver is the filtration organ of the body.
If it's overloaded with toxins, it can't do its job. Sweating is a great way
to eliminate toxins through the skin with taxing the other elimination
organs.

For more, and vital, information on autoimmune conditions in general, see
the new book by Datis Kharrazian with the word "thyroid" in the title.
Although he focuses on hypothydism, the book is really about the progression
and treatment of ALL autoimmune conditions. You can read my review, with
details of the book's contents, under the 5-star ratings on Amazon. Or see
the same review under "Thyroid Gland" on my webbsite. I consider this one of
the most important books of the year. This may not help the person with
autoimmune hepatitis right away, but at least it's a place to start.

 

I would recommend her seeing a health care provider who's versed in
autoimmune conditions. This means a naturopath, oseopath or other
practitioner in the holistic health field, but NOT an allopath. Allopaths
don't understand how the body works, and thus aren't very successful in
treating autoimmune malfunctions.

Cindy, I have hepatitis c, and I am sure that glutathione would be very good 
for auto immune hep. You would need ivs from a doctor. Oral will not do the 
job. I buy glutathione from overseas and do it myself iv, mixed with vitamin c- 
the 2 compliment each other. 
 The liver cleanse is essential for long term improvement, as well. 
  I also believe that every household should have an ozone gen. and use it for 
these conditions, but it seems not everyone shares that view. 
  Also, you might look into the hepatitis CAM @ yahoo.groups where low dose 
naltrexone is used by every member with positive results in modulating the 
immune system. Some members have successfully got their numbers down to normal 
from where yours are.

biopsy done on Thursday.Now myself and my other sister have been told we 
also have a fatty liver but our blood test are normal.  Does anyone here have 
any input as to what may help a fatty liver?  All 3 of us are close to 50 and 
sure we could drop some weight, my Dr. told me not to worry.  Non of us over 
abuse Tylenol or Motrin but we are on a natural hormone  Bio identical.

This may not seem pertinent, but it would be good for her to have a 
complete CBC and full iron panel with ferritin, and transferrin and 
total iron binding capacity. Many people with liver problems have too 
much iron, though I'm not certain that fatty liver or hepatitis are 
or can be the result of a liver overloaded with iron. In any case it 
can't hurt to have those blood tests done.

Thanks, I have been taking it with no food. It is definately working. It killed 
of my good bacteria, and I'm getting that back right last few days

Don't take it with food, or on a stomach full of food if you want it
to be effective.

Water or liquids (not milk) should be ok, as far as I know.

Good question. I've read a lot on this and have experimented with different 
suggestions. I also hold the CS in my mouth for about 10 seconds swishing it 
around allowing the mucous membranes to absorb some of it. After swallowing it 
I want it to be absorbed as much as possible and delivered to the rest of my 
body via the lower G.I. tract. Thus, the drinking of the water. So far I have 
not had a problem with it and I�also eat yogurt on a regular basis replacing 
any killed off from the CS.�I also will take lactobacillus pills when I do 
not have yogurt on hand. This helps with the overall immune system. I eat the 
yogurt or take the pills at least two hours after CS dose. I am comfortable, at 
this time, with the effect is having. However, I am always looking and open for 
others suggestions. Research is the key for me!

I had a client in the methadone clinic (a few years ago) I used to work at 
drink two, two liter bottles of 5ppm CS within a month and his next series of 
tests showed no sign of ever having HCV. It's definitely worth a try. I drink 
at least 2 oz. per day on an empty stomach followed by at least 8 oz of 
purified water. I haven't been sick for over 2 years! (Knock on wood).

to be effective.

Water or liquids (not milk) should be ok, as far as I know.

I had a client in the methadone clinic (a few years ago) I used to work at 
drink two, two liter bottles of 5ppm CS within a month and his next series of 
tests showed no sign of ever having HCV. It's definitely worth a try. I drink 
at least 2 oz. per day on an empty stomach followed by at least 8 oz of 
purified water. I haven't been sick for over 2 years! (Knock on wood).

While researching the internet yesterday for CS generators, I stumbled upon
a youtube video done by a man that also had Hep.C, and he tried CS and was
very pleased to see the numbers falls. That's when he bought himself his own

i'm also type 1a, and last summer was symptomatic to the point of 
having to
do something just to keep on keeping on.  i started right off by 
buying a CS
generator, since i got one cheap on ebay and had faith i could at

resell it.  started out with 4-6oz/day divided into 3-4 shots, at

14ppm (as measured with a cheap TDS meter).  major huge turnaround in 
24

hours, but didn't last...symptoms came back but not as bad, but
progressively better for a month at which time i felt reborn.
other problems also cleared up over the next several months, like gum
disease and toenail fungus (almost).
i started making it at twice the strength and taking half the qty at 2
shots/day...and that turned out to be a mistake.  symptoms started 
showing
themselves very slightly again after awhile, and where the toenail 
fungus
only had 1/8" to finish growing out clean, it started coming in 
discolored

again from the base on both big toes.
so at about the 6 month point i started making it stronger yet, and 
doing
6-8oz/day, divided into 3-4 shots.  by this time i had accumulated 
Beck
Protocol tools which i use sporadically.  i'd also accumulated 
various herbs
per stephen buhner's "herbs for hep-c and the liver" and had revamped 
my

diet a lot, and started doing the herbs and other supps regularly.
this seems to have me back on top of the virus, but still not feeling 
as
amazingly well as last fall.  the toenail fungus is again almost all 
grown
out, gums are great, and my eyes have turned almost pure blue.  in 
july my
viral load was 1.3 million, and alt & ast were still above 
normal...also AFP
has gone above normal, and while that's a cancer indicator it also 
happens
with smokers and can coincide with treatments being effective 
according to
something i read on the web...in june i quit tobacco, so at the time 
of the

blood test i was probably still purging that.

also this spring i started adding in Tetrasilver Tetroxide at about 
10ppm.

i have no way of knowing if the HCV has become wise to the CS and the
control i now get may be due to the TT and herbs.  i have no way of 
knowing

if the herbs and either/both the CS & TT are mutually beneficial,
cancelling, detrimental, or no effect.

if i had it to do over, i'd start the CS at 8oz/day, at least 25ppm, 
and
keep it up steady.  i'd also start right off juicing raw organic 
fruits &
veggies, esp carrots and beets, daily and do plenty of chlorella, 
spirulina,

C, E, selenium, MSM as they're all great supps and are the base of the
argyria cure case posted on the web, so they should be a good idea to 
help

keep the silver moving on through and not accumulating in tissues.

last week i've added in the MMS chlorine dioxide and am up to 15 drops
several times daily, timed from 8pm to 6 am so i can take all my high 
C and
antioxidant foods and supps during the day without neutralizing the 
MMS.
too soon to tell what's happening with that, except i've had no 
herxing
aside from some stuffy nose in the morning that clears when i 
arise... have
had none of the nausea/vomiting/diarrhea that others have experienced 
with

increasing the MMS, but i ramped up steadily for a week.  i think i'm
probably very pathogen free except for the hep, and folks seem to 
think the
funky rxns to the MMS come from it killing off stuff... i don't know 
that i
agree with that yet.  once i hit the 15drop point (this morning) i 
have
finally experienced significant loosening of stools, and farting all 
day.  i
used to fart kinda pungent the first couple weeks of doing all the 
herbs,

but that tamed down.
i'm going to be doing 15drop doses at around 8 and 10pm, then again 
at 4 and
6am steadily now for the next several weeks (unless i get the nasty 
sides
and have to back down for a bit), then stay at 6drop/day  after that 
for a
couple months.  somewhere in the next couple months i'll get another 
blood

test and see how the numbers are doing.

There is group that talks about alternative treatment of Hep C.  It is 
Hepatitis_Children_and_CAM_Alternatives.com   Treatment for 1a is over a year 
and very difficult.  It is a slow moving disease (generally) and she should 
look at ALL options before moving forward with conventional treatment.  The 
success rate of that treatment is 30-40% and I understand it can be hell.  I'll 
email more info off list.  I've had 43+ yrs with no conventional treatment.

## 70+ uS [as PPM sorta kinda ] would be correct and possible, however, the 
filtering may have added something to make a more soluble silver compound 
out of the ionic content.
 Most paper contains some acid residue from the paper making 
process.  That's what makes paperback books yellow and crumble with age and 
why lab grade [there are many grades] filter paper is neutralized paper. 
[ash washed, ash free, acid freeor something like that ]


 I've had 87 uS [unfiltered] batches stay stable, clear and colorless 
[with very heavy TE] for several months, then oxidize into a deep yellow 
brew at 30 uS cleared up by adding a few drops of Hydrogen Peroxide and not 
significantly increasing the conductivity...still very heavy TE.
 Since meters don't read particle content and lasers don't read in numbers 
at all,  the actual total PPM may have been over 100.


I think the meter equivalency range where the uS number ~ = PPM , stops 
being reasonable at around 30 uS..which is, incidentally, where anomalies 
start cropping up in plotting conductivity/time rise curves at a constant 
current. [ Faraday, Ohms Law and meters start arguing more than normal. ]

ionic doesn't get it now matter how strong.

i'm using MMS now along with the CS, and a whole slew of herbs, and seem to be 
doing well.  the stuff isn't really convenient or pleasant to deal with, but 
seems to be working.  and the beck tools, and rife (for whatever it may be 
worth)... the mag pulser seems to be a good thing - want an oscillating field 
one with high power and rapid fire, but they're pricey.

Ode - did your friends HIV count stay at 0 or climb up again after awhile?

HM com-100:  just got one.  big fat thing.  came with a HM TDS-3 bonus.  
measured some of my aged stable clear CS.  my old TDS-1 says 31ppm.  the new 
TDS-3 says 36ppm.  the com-100 says about 71.5 uS in EC (KCl) mode, or 36ppm.  
now my question is how many ppm is my silver???
i somehow thought (i am CRS challanged) from reading that uS was agreed to read 
EIS/CS at about even translation to ppm ??? but this appears to be double what 
i expected, or is all my over-burning/filtering/repeat... really making it at 
over 70ppm ???

He sipped a pint a day @ 12 PPM, all day, for 6 months.

I asked about this for a friend recently, and sent the info I found 
onto my friend.  There are people that use it for hep, some get a 
"cure"  others have it increase their quality of life, so they can 
function well.

My wife and I are driving to Las Vegas next month and a few friends have 
warned us about the dangers of hepatitis in food and drink and suggest

that we get hep shots which I refuse to do.
We are taking some CS with us but am not quite sure on the best way for 
hep prevention. Should one drink some CS with every meal or just take it 
once a day? Has anyone been in this situation and how have you handled it?

You probably had "infectious" hepatitis type A and your friend had
"serum" hepatitis type B.

You will get over most hepatitis A and B with rest, and if you don't
over exert yourself.  Conventional treatment is near bed rest, restrict
fats as the bile duct is usually inflamed and closed, and to give sugars
to reduce the effort of the liver to make/store sugars.

Jodi, thanks very much for the reply.  Mesosilver website says it is 20 
ppm, so if you have 10 ppm, you use twice as  much.  People have said 
that every 2 hours is the most often since it takes that long to go 
through the system. Did you do that? Or did you sip throughout the day 
like some?

and took more.  If she treats herself with EIS (instead of CS such as 
Mesosilver), she will have to dose often and more at a time, but it 
will still work.  Silver is silver, whether it's EIS or CS, all she 
has to do is to take more if dosing with EIS (what we make at home).
I was also later told to take Alpha-lipoic Acid (600 mg. per day), 
Selenium (400 mcg. per day), MGN-3 (from mushrooms, I believe) and 
Vitamin C, and did so, and my symptoms (yellow skin and a swollen 
abdomen) disappeared very quickly and never returned.

That is so interesting. I have heard that they can take part of 
someone's liver and give it to someone else, and the liver grows back 
to a normal size. It does not become the same as before, but the part 
that is left will grow bigger to compensate.

I was told to do this by the doc and I did.  He gave me no drugs what so ever. 
Not many different kinds of hard candies out there 33 yrs ago I remember I

never any signs of argyria...so far, so good.
tests prior to 7/06 only indicated alt/ast, no viral load and genotype
wasn't determined.  the 7/06 test is where i requested the bug count and
genotype determination.  i declined to have a biopsy since they're pretty
unreliable and have their own small but real danger of causing cancer to get
loose into the body if it hits on some.  this is with the VA.
i started the CS in early september '06

it wasn't really hard to quit tobacco, except i didn't really want to since
that was my main remaining pleasure in life.  i only smoked imported
handmade cigars, and cheaper ones made from the scrap from the handrollers
trimmings.  no american tobacco co. drug additives.  didn't inhale but
chewed on them a lot yum yum.  they were effecting my mouth and throat
pretty bad.  a Sota mag pulser and microcurrents seem to really help the
whole neck are recover.  i think i'd gotten into a early cancer situation.
they no longer appeal to me.  i used a beck/Sota brain tuner quite a bit
too...can't really say it did anything, but well might've... no strong
craves at all.

yeah, raw foods are where it's at!

Hi Kathryn -

There are no contraindications with silver, that I know of.  It goes 
with everything, except bacteria, viruses and germs.  [grin]   I had 
600,000 copies of Hep C in the latter part of 2000, although I don't 
remember which type.  The doctor I saw told me I was worse-off than any 
of her other patients with Hep C at that point, so I can't imagine what 
your friend is going through with a whopping 12 million copies.  I guess 
I had it good. 

I started on Mesosilver, taking 1 tablespoon 3 times a day, and then 
went on to making my own EIS with a Silver Puppy generator (from Ode), 
and took more.  If she treats herself with EIS (instead of CS such as 
Mesosilver), she will have to dose often and more at a time, but it will 
still work.  Silver is silver, whether it's EIS or CS, all she has to do 
is to take more if dosing with EIS (what we make at home). 

I was also later told to take Alpha-lipoic Acid (600 mg. per day), 
Selenium (400 mcg. per day), MGN-3 (from mushrooms, I believe) and 
Vitamin C, and did so, and my symptoms (yellow skin and a swollen 
abdomen) disappeared very quickly and never returned.

HCV-infected people and the use of CS?  And, pardon my ignorance, what is EIS?  
I hand out a lot of info on the use of CS but have only had one person respond 
but they gave up on it after a couple of mos and without having their RNA done 
again during that time.  It seems people are just plain giving up before 
letting "the miracle happen".  Any suggestions?

negative when the next RNA test was run.  But it has been reported on

addition to simultaneous CS dosage (good CS 10 ppm (1 part) + 2 parts Gatorade 
(as an electrolyte to take the CS deeper into body tissue than CS can go 
alone)--1 oz CS + 2 oz Gatorade mixture taken in mouthful doses (holding in 
mouth for 2 minutes, then swallowing) and continue taking like this till glass 
empty--repeat this several times a day--follow bG's zapper dosing suggestions. 
Also, if you give this info or the CS free, most will feel that if it were any 
good, you wouldn't give it away--Charge them a reasonable price; such as 
$25/gallon--when they have their money invested, they'll have more
 faith in the actual benefits they might receive and will perhaps get effective 
results.

of HCV, current forms of traditional treatment (which is primarily 
chemotherapy, using pharmaceutical drugs that cause severe side effects) and 
suggesting the use of alternative treatments including colloidal silver.  Even 
the folks in the support group are very skeptical about the use of CS.  When I 
first started going to the group, I gave them a synopsis of what I knew of CS 
and asked if I could bring my "lab" and show them how it is made and some 
information I had gleaned off of the internet telling of the uses and successes 
of its use.  They said "sure, anything to kill this disease".  However, when it 
came down to actually using it, they were still skeptical and not even one 
person has tried it.  
   
  So, I am needing some information that shows empirical evidence that CS does 
kill  HCV, other viruses and the supposedly hundreds of bacterias it kills too.

Re: Hep C.  I have one positive anecdotal report from a ND who reported 
a man who had not worked in 3 months, and was about to check into a 
hospital to die.  He began quaffing large amounts of CS, and went back

Burn units use silver bearing creams or ointments, yes. That is worth 
mentioning.

Silverlon bandages have been patented within the last few years. They 
might be a source of some current research and credible references.

There are companies in Japan, I think, who are incorporating silver 
particles into plastics and fabrics to kill germs and fight odor.

So, there is some "mainstream" use of silver that we can point to.

I guess what I am really attempting to convey is that once something deemed 
appropriate has become an established medical practice, regardless of the fact 
the times and technology have changed dramatically, procedures are maintained 
because there is a mentality that saysthis is the way it has always 
been done, even though it is not warranted.  Such attitudes have paved the road 
with unnecessary medical tests encumbering both the health care system and the 
individual.   Basically, it is across the board CYA (for that "one" that 
something might happen to)  and not necessarily in the best interests of the 
patient.

of the woman and/or father that would determine the risk. Policy 
rigidity does not permit the parents to say, "Hey, we don't have VD,

Agreed on all counts, Carol Ann, except maybe the suggestion that there 
would have been a correlation between neonate infection and home birth, 
midwives or rural location. Granted they'd be less likely to have

There are several things that make it difficult for uninformed people to 
have confidence in "Colloidal Silver."


First of all, "Colloidal Silver" is a catch-all term like "Kleenex" or 
"Cancer."  There are many different types of silver preparations which 
have been used over the years and some of these have some side effects, 
generally caused by excessively high silver content (eg: silver proteins 
etc) or by toxic substances that are combined with the silver (eg: 
silver nitrate, silver chloride).  One of the main side effects cited is 
argyria which is a purely cosmetic condition of the skin.  This might be 
preferable to dying.  Even this side effect is exceedingly rare with the 
low ppm silver that people refer to on this list.  However, people with 
agendas that are more important to them than you getting well find it 
convenient to continue to discuss all silver preparations as one group, 
so that any problem that may be inherent to one is implied to be 
inherent to all, so that all silver products may be discredited by the 
shortcomings of any one product.


Most "Colloidal Silver" preparations are not able to be patented since 
they have been used for years and the most effective ones are easy to 
make, even at home.  Therefore, it is not in any drug company's interest 
to make the financial investment necessary to prove colloidal silver 
effective as a drug.  The government is probably not interested either 
as it is obvious that wide use of colloidal silver would devastate the 
earnings of drug companies which are major businesses and a large part 
of our economy.  There are actually some who actively work to discredit 
all colloidal silver products in order to prevent this from happening 
(eg: Stephen Barrett, ex-MD).


If read closely, the objection of the FDA to colloidal silver is against 
the CLAIMS that colloidal silver cures or treats any disease since it 
has not passed through the process necessary to accredit colloidal 
silver as a drug according to the FDA RULES.  They do not actually deny 
that it is effective, just that it has not passed through the required 
process that would qualify it as a drug since their definitions state 
that if a substance cures something it has to be a drug, and if it is a 
drug it then has to go through the process that they have set up in 
order to be sold.  I think that they know very well that it is effective 
but are prevented by law from acknowledging this, and I sometimes wonder 
if their position about CLAIMS is a contrivance that allows colloidal 
silver to be sold and used without coming under the regulations that it 
would if it were classified as a drug.


Another thing is that colloidal silver may be difficult to get to the 
area it needs to get to in the body to be effective, making it a bit 
more difficult to use for some conditions than some other medications. 
Dosages and timings for the use of low ppm colloidal silver have not 
been fixed.


I personally would not use most silver preparations other than 
Electrically Isolated Silver (EIS) made electrolytically with pure 
silver in distilled water without additives, with concentrations between 
5 and 30 ppm.  My experience has shown that additives such as H202, 
DMSO, and electrolytes may be added for specific purposes, usually just 
before use.


Scientific studies and reports may exist, some coming even from the 
period before the FDA, but it is my impression that it is difficult to 
access these over the internet unless one has a subscription to the 
scientific database which holds them.  It also appears to be 
career-limiting for scientists to come out in favor of colloidal silver 
regardless of their research results.


Because of the laws which prohibit practicing medicine without a license 
and liabilities that may be incurred, it is difficult for a person who 
knows the value of colloidal silver to give adamant statements about the 
effectiveness of colloidal silver.  This ambivalent recommendation does 
not inspire confidence in someone who is uninformed; they want their 
Doctor to have absolute confidence and promise them that they will be 
cured by following their God-like recommendations.


It is necessary for someone who would use colloidal silver in the face 
of all this to have a good ability to discriminate, have a certain 
self-confidence and the ability for self-actualization.  These qualities 
are not likely to be found in a group of (ex) drug addicts who need 
counseling.


Most people, whether due to incapacity, conditioning, or fear, would 
rather die than go against conventional wisdom.

My research indicates that some individuals respond very well to CS for 
Hepatitis C and some do not.  Those with accute Hepatitis C in crisis 
have always responded well, although none of my co-research participants 
have used CS regularly enough to even attempt to permanently address the 
condition.


Via correspondence and personal research, I have noticed:

...that when quality home-brewed CS does not reduce viral counts, that 
switching to a true colloid ( Mesosilver ) makes no difference.


...that individuals who do not utilize their EIS every four hours are 
short changing themselves.


...that individuals who skip a day or two are short changing themselves.

There's a smattering of "scientific" research into the use of CS for 
HCV and other pathogens, but most of what little exists is in the form 
of private research and experimentation, commercially funded in vitro 
studies, and scattered reports of clinical results, all small scale.

As you probably know, the authorities in the US actively condemn CS and 
other alternatives, thereby preventing serious research being done.

Testimonial and anecdotal evidence is abundant once you delve to the 
level of communities like this one where people are directly involved 
in studying and using CS.

I expect members here with HCV experience will chime in shortly.

I have had the same experience. I've decided I will no longer attempt 
to *convince* anybody of anything regarding alternative health. 

I will tell them that I've learned of alternatives that work, from 
people I trust and respect, and that they should begin doing research 
on the net. I warn them that they'll find dozens of worthless sites, 
for every nugget of good information. If they decide they want help 
they should ask me.

If they don't ask, I know they're not interested. I will no longer 
accept responsibility for the failure of their imaginations.

I don't want to counsel you to give up. I hope you will continue to 
try. You may be more effective than I have been. Just don't blame 
yourself if they don't listen.

well bribed by the pharmaceutical lobbies into protecting drug company 
profits (FDA, FTC). Their interest is not in curing disease, but of 
managing it for the rest of your life so they can bilk you out of as much 
money as possible (no cures for disease since polio..think about it. The 
pharmaceutical industries got together after that and conspired to cure no 
more diseases because of it's limited profit potential. Much more 
profitable to treat, not cure). So I'll put it like this. I had hep C for 
15 years with many millions of copies per ml of blood. After 6 mos. of 
previously mentioned dosage I didn't have any copies of the virus 
detectable in my blood any more. Draw your own conclusions. Sincerely R.F


On the other hand:
 A friend with HEP C has been using 1 pint a day for a while now and her 
viral count went UP.  I've heard of this in other cases as well.  It might 
be a temporary phase and I'll see when she goes in for a new count.
 On that note, her HIV  went to undetectable, she's feeling good and heals 
fast these days.  No other meds are being used.

Mike, what I find objectionable is that they have taken the practice of putting 
an antibiotic into newborns eyes as a matter of standard procedure. There are 
not that many women today who have  syphilis and/or gonorrhea which is not 
discovered through prenatal care, blood tests, etc, available to women of all 
walks of life, regardless of economic means.  The practice may have once been 
applicable when women were more inclined to have home births, midwives, or 
lived in rural areas with no medical services.  I see it as a rather archaic, 
hold over practice in today's society.

They used to use silver nitrate in the eyes of newborns. It stung and

Likewise, Korea, which currently produces a washing machine that 
employs silver as an anti-bacterial agent.  This is actually a very 
good idea, given that a water temperature of 60 degrees centigrade is 
needed to destroy the bacteria that exist in fecal matter common to 
undergarments.  Most people use cold water only, which means that 
"clean" laundry is a source of bacteria, some quite harmful.

There are several things that make it difficult for uninformed people to 
have confidence in "Colloidal Silver."


First of all, "Colloidal Silver" is a catch-all term like "Kleenex" or 
"Cancer."  There are many different types of silver preparations which 
have been used over the years and some of these have some side effects, 
generally caused by excessively high silver content (eg: silver proteins 
etc) or by toxic substances that are combined with the silver (eg: 
silver nitrate, silver chloride).  One of the main side effects cited is 
argyria which is a purely cosmetic condition of the skin.  This might be 
preferable to dying.  Even this side effect is exceedingly rare with the 
low ppm silver that people refer to on this list.  However, people with 
agendas that are more important to them than you getting well find it 
convenient to continue to discuss all silver preparations as one group, 
so that any problem that may be inherent to one is implied to be 
inherent to all, so that all silver products may be discredited by the 
shortcomings of any one product.


Most "Colloidal Silver" preparations are not able to be patented since 
they have been used for years and the most effective ones are easy to 
make, even at home.  Therefore, it is not in any drug company's interest 
to make the financial investment necessary to prove colloidal silver 
effective as a drug.  The government is probably not interested either 
as it is obvious that wide use of colloidal silver would devastate the 
earnings of drug companies which are major businesses and a large part 
of our economy.  There are actually some who actively work to discredit 
all colloidal silver products in order to prevent this from happening 
(eg: Stephen Barrett, ex-MD).


If read closely, the objection of the FDA to colloidal silver is against 
the CLAIMS that colloidal silver cures or treats any disease since it 
has not passed through the process necessary to accredit colloidal 
silver as a drug according to the FDA RULES.  They do not actually deny 
that it is effective, just that it has not passed through the required 
process that would qualify it as a drug since their definitions state 
that if a substance cures something it has to be a drug, and if it is a 
drug it then has to go through the process that they have set up in 
order to be sold.  I think that they know very well that it is effective 
but are prevented by law from acknowledging this, and I sometimes wonder 
if their position about CLAIMS is a contrivance that allows colloidal 
silver to be sold and used without coming under the regulations that it 
would if it were classified as a drug.


Another thing is that colloidal silver may be difficult to get to the 
area it needs to get to in the body to be effective, making it a bit 
more difficult to use for some conditions than some other medications. 
Dosages and timings for the use of low ppm colloidal silver have not 
been fixed.


I personally would not use most silver preparations other than 
Electrically Isolated Silver (EIS) made electrolytically with pure 
silver in distilled water without additives, with concentrations between 
5 and 30 ppm.  My experience has shown that additives such as H202, 
DMSO, and electrolytes may be added for specific purposes, usually just 
before use.


Scientific studies and reports may exist, some coming even from the 
period before the FDA, but it is my impression that it is difficult to 
access these over the internet unless one has a subscription to the 
scientific database which holds them.  It also appears to be 
career-limiting for scientists to come out in favor of colloidal silver 
regardless of their research results.


Because of the laws which prohibit practicing medicine without a license 
and liabilities that may be incurred, it is difficult for a person who 
knows the value of colloidal silver to give adamant statements about the 
effectiveness of colloidal silver.  This ambivalent recommendation does 
not inspire confidence in someone who is uninformed; they want their 
Doctor to have absolute confidence and promise them that they will be 
cured by following their God-like recommendations.


It is necessary for someone who would use colloidal silver in the face 
of all this to have a good ability to discriminate, have a certain 
self-confidence and the ability for self-actualization.  These qualities 
are not likely to be found in a group of (ex) drug addicts who need 
counseling.


Most people, whether due to incapacity, conditioning, or fear, would 
rather die than go against conventional wisdom.

Burn units use silver bearing creams or ointments, yes. That is worth 
mentioning.

Silverlon bandages have been patented within the last few years. They 
might be a source of some current research and credible references.

There are companies in Japan, I think, who are incorporating silver 
particles into plastics and fabrics to kill germs and fight odor.

So, there is some "mainstream" use of silver that we can point to.

refuse to listen to any kind of reason about nutrition and natural 
antifungalsbut surprisingly my mother and father who are in their late 70's 
do listen and comply too which is awesome...your right Mike what is that saying 
when the student is ready the teacher will come...but in our cases it is 
backwards...go figure :)

I have had the same experience. I've decided I will no longer attempt 
to *convince* anybody of anything regarding alternative health.  

I will tell them that I've learned of alternatives that work, from 
people I trust and respect, and that they should begin doing research 
on the net. I warn them that they'll find dozens of worthless sites, 
for every nugget of good information. If they decide they want help 
they should ask me.

If they don't ask, I know they're not interested. I will no longer 
accept responsibility for the failure of their imaginations.

Hi Scott,

Congratulations on accepting treatment that God used to treat your
addiction!

Dr. Bob Beck stated that 85% of people that had "so called incurable
problems" would not take CS or his Protocol. I, too, have had many good
long-time friends with cancers that I shared CS info with, and each told me
that they had a good doctor, insurance and would be fine with the doctor's
medicines. I even contacted several of their wives hoping one of them would
love her husband enough and encourage them to give CS a try--to no avail.
Having done all that I could do, I put them on my prayer list and within a
year or so, attended their funeral. Sad!

Scott, since CS is NOT FDA approved in US, you might research Biogenics who
went to FDA in Ghana S. Africa and got their CS approved--they now have
millions in contracts in Africa, S. America, Central America and the Far
East and can STATE: CS can CURE Tuberculosis (#1 killer in the world);
Malaria and many other diseases. Presently they are getting BYU to
experiment with CS and hope to some day get CS approved in US--Big Pharma
will fight all the way. At age 83, I plan on living to 120, but that might
not be before our FDA approves CS here.

assembly directions. Bob also requests that all users report full info of
all uses and ways used. I believe that using one of these low voltage dc
zappers in addition to simultaneous CS dosage (good CS 10 ppm (1 part) + 2
parts Gatorade (as an electrolyte to take the CS deeper into body tissue
than CS can go alone)--1 oz CS + 2 oz Gatorade mixture taken in mouthful
doses (holding in mouth for 2 minutes, then swallowing) and continue taking
like this till glass empty--repeat this several times a day--follow bG's
zapper dosing suggestions. Also, if you give this info or the CS free, most
will feel that if it were any good, you wouldn't give it away--Charge them a
reasonable price; such as $25/gallon--when they have their money invested,
they'll have more faith in the actual benefits they might receive and will
perhaps get effective results.

I would like to help a friend who has hepatitis C.  We would like to know 
anything and everything that would help him.

To start with, what kind of CS works best?
What is the dosage and how to take it?
Is it better to take it with Gatorade for the electrolytes? Would Pedialyte 
(children's electrolyte solution) work as well?

Does anyone have any  direct experience with successfully treating this 
disease?  

Can you refer us to any web sites, or other useful sources of information.

I've read about Bob Beck's treatment for AIDS, using a zapper, CS, and the 
device that you place over the lymph nodes (can't remember the name now--silver 
pulser?)?  It seems that if this protocol would work for AIDS, a virus, it may 
work for Hepatitis C as well.

Does anyone have any experience with the various oxygen therapies--hydrogen 
peroxide, hyperbaric therapy, and so forth?  These also have been demonstrated 
to treat AIDS successfully, so why not Hepatitis C?

Has anybody had any direct experience with treating Hepatitis C using 
reflexology?  How about color therapy? What about direct experience using EFT?

There is now a second phase FDA approved clinical trials using all natural
herbs. The study was funded by a Japanese herbal company HONSO. their GMP
product is named Sho-saiko-to translated to Chinese Pin Yin = Xiao Chai Hu
Tang) ingredients listed on their web site.
