Re: [Talk-hr] Naselja u OSM-u
Evo mene opet! Do tada ću ja ažurirati barem jednom dnevno. *Please forward!* *FOSDEM*[1] is a free open source event bringing together about 5000 developers in Brussels, Belgium. The goal is to provide open source software developers and communities a place to meet at. The next edition will take place the weekend 31/1 - 1/2/2015. This year for the first time there will be a *geospatial devroom* on Sunday 1/2/2015! Geospatial technology becomes more and more part of mainstream IT. The idea is to bring together people with different backgrounds to better explain and understand the opportunities Geospatial can offer. This devroom will host topics explaining the state of the art of geospatial technology, and how it can be used amongst other projects. The *geospatial devroom* is the place to talk about open, geo-related data and software and their ecosystem. This includes standards and tools, e.g. for spatial databases, and online mapping, geospatial services, used for collecting, storing, delivering, analysing, and visualizing puposes. Typical topics that will be covered are: - Web and desktop GIS applications - Interoperable geospatial web services and specifications - Collection of data using sensors/drones/satellites - Open hardware for geospatial applications - Geo-analytic algorithms/libraries - Geospatial extensions for classical databases (indexes, operations) - Dedicated databases *HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR TALK PROPOSAL* Are you thrilled to present your work to other open source developers? Would you like to run a discussion? Any other ideas? Please submit your proposal at the Pentabarf event planning tool at: https://penta.fosdem.org/submission/FOSDEM15 When submitting your talk in Pentabarf, make sure to select the 'Geospatial devroom' as 'Track'. -BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 Josm has a trac system on the josm website where you can submit tickets for feature requests and whatnot. For the specific imagery contrast patch though PovAddict wrote that himself but it was not a good enough quality patch to be implement in josm itself. It had a memory leak for example that would eat up your memory over time forcing you to periodically restart josm. The best thing to do would be to talk to PovAddict on IRC (he is usually on #osm) and see if he would be interested in refining it. - -AndrewBuck On 10/20/2014 01:44 PM, Mike Thompson wrote: How does one submit a request so that this gets considered for future versions of JOSM?

Hola Recién me he suscrito a la lista.
Hello Peter, I'm replacing those objects with clean tagging import. Please check this information page. http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Import/Catalogue/Japan_KSJ2_Import/Administrative_district_2014 So I feel we do not need mechanical edit on administrative boundary objects. I pledge I will erase them all in the near future :) note=National-Land Numerical Information (Administrative area) 2008, MLIT Japan note:ja=国土数値情報(行政区域データ)平成20年 国土交通省 But there are other objects with node-with-tag old import data on Railway and possibly on River. If you could edit them mechanically, it could be great help for us. Thanks! 2014-10-17 22:19 GMT+09:00 Peter Barth osm-p...@won2.de: Dear mappers from Japan, first of, I'm sorry I have to write in English to this list. Due to different reasons (mainly MapRoulette) I'm often mapping in Japan. I came accross huge amounts of imports (mostly KSJ2 as source, but others, too). One thing I discovered that I find annoying (mostly when using JOSM): For a huge amount of ways not only a source- and source_ref-tag was added but also a note- and note:ja-tag. These tags were not only added to the ways but also to their nodes. See e.g. this way http://www.openstreetmap.org/way/55877995#map=14/36.1056/137.8007 and one of the way's nodes here http://www.openstreetmap.org/node/701559083#map=19/36.08733/137.75999 According to the Mechanical Edit Policy in a first step edits have to be discussed. As it matters for Japan only, I chose the talk-ja mailing list. In my opinion, at least all note- and note:ja tags on nodes should be removed if the same note- and note:ja-tag is present on the according way, too. Not only is the current information redundant but it's also a misuse of the note-tag (at least according to the English wiki description, see http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Note). I'd help to document and execute such edits (whatever the details of this discussion might be). But I'd be even more happy if a native speaker would deal with this matter so that the Japanese community is not forced to discuss this in English only. Anyway, in a first step this should be discussed. [Talk-GB] PostGIS day (Nov 2014) and Call for papers
Hi, OSGeo UK are running a couple of single day events in November centred around PostGIS (the spatial database extender for PostgreSQL - http://postgis.net). Further details can be found here: http://osgeouk.github.io/pgday/. For the London event we'd like ideas for talks of around 25 minutes (+5 for questions), and also 10 minute lightning talks. This is your opportunity to tell everyone about the cool, fantastic, awesome, or really incredibly useful thing you have done with PostGIS. Our only stipulations are that overt sales pitches will not be considered, and it must (obviously) be related to PostGIS. Whatever else you want to talk about is up to you! If you're interested, please email osgeouk at gmail.com with a brief outline of your talk, and whether you want a 10 minute or 30 minute slot. Please note that you'll need to sign up for a ticket as well- and they are running out fast. The deadline for submissions is the 3rd November, and we'll let all accepted speakers know by the 6th of November. Thanks, and we look forward to seeing you in London on the 20th!
