Hey Martijn,
I went to this night so thanks for the link. From some of the tracks
listed, it looks like the music on the night was better than I remember. I
really can't recall hearing the Stooges or KLF in there !
I'm not the biggest Garnier fan but thought I should have one last night at
When I scanned through the tracklist, these names looked credible to me :
Omar S - Psychotic photosynthesis
Omar feat Stevie Wonder - Feeling You (Henrik Schwarz mix)
Inner City - Good Life (Carl Craig Remix)
Marvin Gaye - I Heard it Through the Grapevine ( ? Remix)
Henrik Schwarz Amampando
Haha, I liked Tiefshwarz when they first came on the scene - 'through a
little window' was a good track. I'll let you have that one though as
they've most likely lost their way gone down hill. I don't know the track
I listed anyway !

My point is it doesn't add anything to the mix, there's really no need for
it.
I still like the CD though would recommend it, especially if you like
Metro Area anyway.

I like the Metro Area Fabric mix. It has some cheesy talking from Morgan
Darshan at he beginning of the mix which is unnecessary, but the mix itself
is enjoyable. Even though a lot of the records played are from the late
seventies, the mix still retains that 'clean' Metro Area sound.

I can't believe there was no mention of C2 @ the End last Saturday on 313,
how about a heads up next time ?
You come on here talking about how good it was ... ; )
I spent the night listening to minimal techno. I thought I liked Daniel
Bell, but I really wasn't feeling his set last Saturday.
I noticed a lack of variety in his set, like the overall feel never
changed. There were no moments where the sound gets a little darker, just
everything plodding along in the same vein. Sometimes I think DJs think too
much on the overall style without thinking about making people dance.
Yeah some house would have been welcome.
I need more variety in my sets these days !

I'm looking to I.D a track that Surgeon played at the end of his set at

I thought Derrick May was superb that night.

I was at The End on Saturday to witness Mills absolutely rock the club!
