Hi, I recently picked up this 12 called Life Sampler, with the stand-out
track being by some bloke called Phil Parnellit kinda reminds me of
Isolee a bit but leans slightly more towards house...still got that nice
unpigeonholeable quality about it...Anyway, anyone know any other releases
I've got confuser 001 - if it is Marco Carola, it doesn't sound like him
as it's got a rough edge to it and his productions are usually quite
crisp-sounding. However I've not heard any Tobias Schmidt records so
Scmhidt's record are generally 'rough'and excellent, imho.

Akufen from Montreal is definately one of the most interesting artists i've
heard in a while. He sort of fits your description, so check out some of
his stuff on Perlon, Background, Trapez, A Touch of Class, Hautec, and the
list goes on and on...

I'd say there are just about five or six of us, maybe moreif you did
decide Dublin or Belfast I'd help out...but I'm totally inexperienced as

Not one of my favourite Model 500 tracks but still great. Probably sounds
more like Derrick May actually now that I think of it. But of course one of
the great things about Juan Atkins is his versatility.

Picked up a nice electro 12 by Spesimen. Three tracks in all with one
excellent one called Centali. I don't have the record to hand at the mo
and the label name escapes me now, but I remember it was addressed as Ann
Arbor, Michigan.
