Talking of Steve Reich samples, I re-discovered Ghost, on the b-side of
Pepe Bradock's 6 Million Pintades at the weekend, which has a whopping
great sample of Reich's City Life providing the chords. Dan Bell used
it at the end of his last Button-down Mind mix on Logistic...

Yes, it sounds like it has an excerpt of Electric Counterpoint, the
Reich piece composed for/performed by Pat Metheny - a deeply 'techno'
composition for those that haven't heard it - also a wonderful
creation that I'd recommend to

Somewhere along the line, we build our own stuff turned into we build
our own stuff using nothing but pieces of cardboard, chewing gum, and
divine intervention as opposed to the much more likely we build our
own stuff in Max/Reaktor/Nord Modular.

he's been using Roland R-8 a lot in his earlier works.. and i think the
digeridoo sound on 'digeridoo' is from some roland analogue gear too.
