You need to set LIBPATH correctly so as to ensure that ARServer is able to
locate the dependent modules correctly.
The missing file should be located under $ORACLE_HOME/lib32 or

Hello everyone,
I have users who are unable to create tickets in on of the nodes of a server
group. The they get error The Plugin sepcified does not exist REMEDY.ARF.CAI
(ARERR 8755).
I have restarted the server with the Plugin log enabled and I see the
followings:
/ARFILTERAPI Plug-In
Looks like restarting the server has *resolved* (temporarilly) the error but I
am quite sure it will come back again.

I'm glad they have included mode switching to allow you to easily
switch between Search mode and New mode
when working in the ticket forms in 7.6.04 p1.
Am I right in thinking 7.6.04 p1 is a full installation, so I could
create a new system by installing 7.6.04p1 without having first

Rey,
To be honest with you, being new to SRM and using version 2.2 to create
AIF requests is probably not a good idea. The mantra of BMC with the
more recent versions is to stay away from customizations and the AIF
method. You should seriously consider the future upgrade implications of

Phil,
It does appear to be a full installer.
Good luck,

Frex,
A couple of questions:
1. Are you using a load balancer?
2. If so, do you have persistency set up on it?
3. Is port mapper enabled?
4. Did you put any entries into your host file?

Hi,
For
Hello fellow Listers,
We have been trying to figure out a way, in the Mid-Tier to allow our users the
ability to open several windows at the same time via a single login session. I
heard there is now a way to do this with the latest version of the Mid-Tier. We
are currently using version 7.1
I am trying to load a HTTPS URL suing filter set field. We have loaded the
certificate in Java JRE directory on the server. When I try to click the load
button, I am getting following error message. Any help would be appreciated.
We are running AR Server Patch 6 on Windows 2003 environment.
Chris,
Are you saying that you are having trouble with your users having more than
one window open?shouldn't be an issue from the same source, if they have
a button that opens the form in question in a new window, then open
another.I guess I'm not understanding where this is an issue even
Correct. You can easily open up multiple records at the same time. This has
been true since the inception of the Mid-Tier, so it should be completely
possible on AR System 7.1.00. In fact, it'd be interesting to hear how you're
avoiding it, since the fact that multiple windows open when

Ray,

You can use Run Process or $PROCESS$ to execute processes on

All,
We have a dilemma with the current multi-tenancy design of ITSM (we're
using ITSM 7.5.01).
We require multi-tenancy for multiple operating companies to restrict
access of IT support staff members from seeing incidents in another
operating company.
However, by implementing
We just recently went live with 7.6.04... with about a gazillion issues. One of
them was performance. After fixing the other issues, we came to the conclusion
that some of our users were using machines that couldn't handle the WEB content
of 7.6.04. What do I mean by that?

Ray,
I've never heard of the NSH prompt, but you could try a filter with a run
process of
Cmd /c nsh commandline
The cmd of course launches the command line, the /c tells it to run the
command then exit, the nsh is the command you want it to run, and the
tells it to pipe the contents
Are they having a problem because they open Remedy using some kind of Citrix
like process? That would possibly try to login from different machines if each
attempt went to a different Citrix server. There should not be any issue on
having multiple windows open (once they have logged in).
Hi Andrew,
We are currently experiencing the same issue and cannot seem to find an easy
work around. It is All or Nothing with no in between. I hope someone out
there can provide us with something.

All,
My question would be. If they cannot see Incidents for other companies why
would they be creating Incident for another company. One of the ITIL steps when
a new Incident is created is to determine if this is a duplicate or if there is
alrady another Incident opened with the same issue.
Not sure about that...havent researched yet into that field.
You might want to tell the client to perform 3 queries(although this is not an
elegant solution but a workaround).
e.g. If your client wants data where field match is like 'test%' regardless of
case, then they will have to send 3
