Hi Joe
I tried it in XML Notepad, and there are 3 or 4 places where a Space is
Missing between a double quote and an attribute.
Lines 18, 30, and 31 had problems – in the code sample you gave.
XML Notepad tells you where the error is, and you have to open a text

Hi all –
I’m wondering how I convert my date fields so that I can understand them in
sql server:
Example:
SELECT last_modified_date ,
convert(varchar(40), last_modified_date, 100)
FROM HPD_Help_Desk
WHERE Incident_Number = 'INC00031823';
I expected the above ‘Convert’ to fix the
Okay I finally found it… I used DATEADD (ss, name of Remedy date field,
‘19700101’) in the sql.
SELECT last_modified_date ,dateadd(ss, last_modified_date, '19700101') FROM
HPD_Help_Desk WHERE ….
How it looks:

Is Tibco updating the ‘Last Modified By’ and ‘Last Modified Date’ fields?
Also, look for “GO TO 1000” actions in workflow… I’ve had trouble with
those before… J

Hi
I've just gotten my ARUtilities license for 7.6.
I'm wondering what is the difference between the DEF file produced from
ARUtilities and the DEF file produced from Developer Studio? They look
slightly different and are a slightly different file size.
Was I supposed to order version 7.5 of

I am trying to design a solution where a filter pulls in rows from an

Hi -
This is my take on it.
With ITSM, the AR User form and AR Group form are not generally needed.
They don't have enough information.
The People form on ITSM (Administrator Console Application Administration
Console People-View) is the one that has people associated with the
Support Group
ARUtilities is not expensive at all!
I have used their SQL and it is very helpful.
Or, depending on which database (Oracle, DB2, MS Sql Server...) the
product is on, perhaps you could use your Db tool.
For example for Oracle, use the SQL Developer.
There is also a quick way to update fields via

I’m trying to understand how to “correctly” inactivate a user in ITSM

Anyone have the procedure? or know where it is? or if there is one
to that user, have been either reassigned or closed
and reopened by another user as is appropriate, which includes the KB’s...

Hi Joe –
This is that same request from before, - sigh. I’m attempting to notify
the user via a popup that this particular incident that they have wandered
into, is already currently open by someone else.
However – I am saving the $USER$ value in an Active Link on Window Open,
and YES it Does
in it
apparently.

. If the server is a UNIX server, ftp those files
(binary ftp) to your local client, and import the form (def file) followed
by the import of the data (arx file)..
The form is called AR System Error Message Form..
Cheers

Hi all -
I believe I need to be able to trigger a Filter from an Active Link.
Why do I want to do that - you ask?
Because, only Active Links can detect that the user has opened or closed a
window.
And, because only Filters can look at what the Server form data is, and
act on that.
Any ideas?

The C95019 field is a new field that I added to hold the ‘opened’

Hi - thank you for responding.
Actually I am trying NOT to update the original form HPD:Help Desk.
That is why I created a 2nd form and a Join form - which joins HPD:Help
Desk and the 2nd form.
I like the idea of using a Direct SQL though... because then I could have
my new field on HPD:Help
form..
