The sched for the ferry, I find, is inconvenient anyway. If they do ever get a ferry, chances are they will run them infrequently. When I commute, I must be in NYC midtown by 8am, as an example. If I took the ferry from Highlands now (at $42 rounds trip) I would have to take the 6am ferry to

I have thought about the commute to midtown extensively, trust me. The Academy Bus is the fastest. It also leaves from a Park and Ride at 109 which takes 55 to 65 minutes. But, in the morning, if you miss one bus, another may not come for 20 minutes. From here, it takes 30-35 minutes to get
