Cable Solutions go down to 0.5m lengths. Not sure if it qualifies as
'audiophile' but they work for me.

PS, I may be listening to a crap Thai collection of 'musicians' tonight

haven't spent 4200$ on the amps never mind
the connects. So is the sound always 'purer' live?
PS the 'group' did not turn up tonight in the pub. Phew!

EM pick up is related to 'ariel' length. As electricity flows
nearly at speed of light (3x10^8 m/sec), the wavelength at 50Hz = c/f =
6 kilometers. A hell of a long ariel. Note the discussion of 133MHz
called lower frequencies...

I had this problem with the interconnects too, and then I realized I'd
plugged them in the wrong way around. Electrons were not going in the
direction of the arrows on the cables. Dumb or what ;)

I am always puzzled on what the physical mechanism is when folks have
interference from power frequncies.

become superconductors, with current flowing with no voltage. Does
this mean that that Carpernters CD I cut to FLAC could still be

Anyway, lots of things that can degrade copper over time, but I don't
believe its the actual flowing electricity that does it.

looks like I need to be thinking of audio amps to drive the two front

Appreciate any comments on this. Is the Denon 3805 such a weak link in
this set-up?
