new garmin battery in the GPS25 -LVC engine snd reset position and clock
and it will work again till 2019 at least I believe.

PS All this is caused by Garmin and not Cambridge but remember model 20
loggers are now 20 years old!! and even the Cambridge 302 is over 10 years
old Thank goodness all the developers
are on ebay for less that $300 delivered.

Not too sure we have many issues with terain at above 8000ft in
Australia!!!
The version 3 vario is certainly an improvement. Jim reports the CN2 MFD
is brighter and uses less power than original instrument (the terain was
too dark colours). I look forward to the return of my display as C
available for loan.
Be real careful with a glider that has broken back or very early Cirrus or
Libelle I built aerial or Nimbus 3 or 4 with aerial I rudder with that BNC
that is not sealed from water.

then placed it all 4 ways on 2 steel rulers on edge. I just
used paint spray can to put more weight on one tip.
It takes about 3 goes of spray paint.

That IIC ASW20 was originally owned by Brad Edwards & can always remember
how Brad would say how nice it's feel was. His later ASW20B had stiffer
wings which he never liked as much even though it carried more water.

Can do but awaiting more GPS15-xL engines in about March 8
Re flight time recording ALL 302s under read by about 1.5 min per hour as
this timing does not come from GPS.
The new replacement Garmin GPS15xL engine the Cambridge gets its UTC time &
date from the garmin.

I find Yacht Paint Australia very helpful on good but expensive paint
products. They are Australian distributor for international paints &

have had a few close ones the most recent was a REX SAAB 340
on decent into Narrandera at about 25nm out and we were at about 7000ft
heading towards Temora. REX reported us and we advised GFA and paperwork
followed. After that REX gave a descending through 1ft on 122.7MHz
each afternoon.

something is really wrong with control position.

A friend of mine can fly a B747 in any country Qantas still goes to but
when it came to gliding he got the BGA licence which got him out of trouble
and could fly in various countries

want some interesting reading about CASA go to the current senate
inquiry into CASA and ATSB and accidents. It took 4 Corners to kick start
the inquiry. A very sad state of affairs and this is Australia.
