I never heard of this:

I often plug my thumb drive in and out, often use a Zip Drive to transfer
data from my new computer to my old computer which has Windows 98 on it and

menu of the device rather than use the item in the System Tray. Primarily,

1. Highlighting them and pressing your delete key.

You delete them just like you delete any other file. Highlight them in
Windows Explorer and press the delete key to send them to the recycle
bin or shift+delete to send them to oblivion.

I still have mine also showing in my sys-tray and nothing is still plugged
into my computer. I do not have a built in card reader in the first place,

Becky, when you see that computer is unprotected message in the s ystem
tray, do you click on it to see what it says? Go through the menu and make
sure real time protection is checked. MSE should alert you when your

Nothing is wrong, I am using the same thing JAWS 9 and XP-home!
It is just that Windows Media Player does not recognize ogg files, unless
you add a patch!
You can do two things!
Add a patch to your Windows Media Player, or use this program to convert the
ogg files to mp3
Well I know the latest Winamp supports ogg files.

Avast 5 doesn't seem to even be an issue at this point. Sorry but it sure
