Just for your information I will reaffirm that the length of B Tour games
this year are identical to last year. Yes last year they were 45 minutes in
1 hour time slots!
If this had been bought up last year then the UKU would almost certainly
have taken action and Tour 1 would have been held wit

Stu,
Your email was going so well until the middle paragraph.
I will give the mild-mannered response - I think everyone would like to
go to a tour event with good accommodation, food, facilities, etc. Even
if there isn't a Toga-dry-cleaners on site. As people have suggested, it
would be nice to h
Hey all,
Jedi are looking for any Ladies interested in a fun filled wknd in
Dublin. This wknd (9th-10th April) is the annual DUB Tournie and late
drop-outs have left us a few female hands short. If you can get there
and want to play, please contact me here ( [EMAIL PROTECTED] ) or
on 07779150012.
Not 'a' solution, but 'the' solution. However, the UKU needs bids to make
this happen next year. Note that the TDs this year are Tour A/Womens players
- if there were 4 B-Tour players to step forward with bids for a 32+ team
tournament for 2006, I'm sure they'd be gratefully received.

Hi Everyone
I just wanted to say thanks to all the teams who took the time to meet me
concerning my MSc dissertation study on leadership in sports. I am in the
process of sending all the questionnaires out by e-mail and post.
In all, I met a total of 24 teams, and with a good response rate from a

problems for TDs would be to split the two tours to different venues,
which is what I half expect to be happening this year and am supprised
it hasen't happened already. This way womens and Tour A could be at

Hi George,
I agree that smaller teams do find it difficult to commit
early, but I think that Hannah's point was that the bigger
teams could and should follow Leed's example and pay their
club earlier, allowing for early payment at tournaments.
Tour 1 in Bristol shows that one way to get more pitc
I really don't think that calculations are necessary here, the point
is, that the B tour games
shouldn't be this short. I play in the A tour, so this didn't
directly effect me, but it didn't
change the point that I was disappointed to find that the B tour were
playing such short

Hi all,
sorry to clog your inboxes. One of our team members unfortunately lost a
stainless steel Seiko watch at tour 1. If anyone has found it please could
you get in touch with me.
Thanks a lot.

If you're going to be picky about it, half the teams on the B-Tour
actually only played 7 x 45 minute games, and of the 7 games that my
team played, 3 reached the hard cap before time and one was only 30
minutes due to a previous game overrunning.
I was hoping I'd receive more comment on
Maybe that was right for some teams in the B tour, but playing for UTB,
I think we had a cap in only one game as well.
Our games were only to 11. Maybe if they'd been to 15, we'd have got
into the cap more.

Tour 2 - TD's view:
I agree with Simon - TOUR 3 TD
Jon you have raised some good points Yes entry should be waited as to how much
pitch time you get as a team, but maybe the way forward would be to do what
some of the larger teams are doing now...

I would severely doubt that they can answer the second part of your
question, as they have no idea of numbers of teams. I wou
Tour 3 - TD's view:
I don't think that any of this is the fault of TDs (and I think you are saying
that?), we state how many pitches we will have available and then the DoC
writes us a schedule. We therefore have no control over the number of teams
entered or the length of games.
At Tour 3
I think we all might be assuming that the UKU received large numbers of bids.
It would be nice to hear some stats from the DOC as to the number of bids
received and whether there were any bids for tours on their own rather than
combined.
