destination mobile number, MVA answers but it doesn't recognize the ANI and ask
for the remote destination number, then punch in the remote destination digits
then #, then after a while like around 7 secs, the call

I'm not the expert in this, but if I understand what you are asking
The Standard Local Route Group would be set first in your Route List and
then a secondary option would be set in the route list. In the event
your Standard Local Device fails, the calls based on that route pattern
would
i beleive it is the other way around. The local group would be the 2nd choice
not the 1st. The primary route group (gw) would the 1st in the list.

That's what I thought, the only reason it came up is that there was a
screen shot of it in the PG of Lab 2 or 3 (can't remember) in coming up
with the solution. It just got me thinking as I plan for speed and

You can configure Standard Local Route Group as a valid option for a
route group in any order.
So for instance you could have:
HQ Route Pattern 9.xxx -- RL_PSTN -- Option 1) Standard
Local Route GrouporOption 2) BR1_GW_RG
Or if you like:
HQ Route Pattern 9.xxx --
Now how about if you want calls to 9.xxx for phones in the Device pool
HQ to use:
RL_PSTN -- Option 1) Standard Local Route Group (HQ Gateway) or
Option 2) BR1_GW_RG
But phones in BR1's device pool to use:

You can only get multiple CIPC going if you run VMs. I've never seen anyone
manage to get multiple going under one OS. :(

If you are studying for the Voice IE - CIPC or IPBlue won't really cut
it.
You need some hardware phones. You can route them through your laptop
for VPN software if you can't afford phones and a router/switch for
VPN - but you still need hardware phones.
Biggest issue right now is that you need 7962/65 to keep up with the
labs such as Vol 1 and also to fully test. IPBlue is not out with a
7962/65 version yet so if I were just starting out I would probably at
least invest in a couple of these to help along the way.

I notice that if I answer the call (PSTN Phone) before the 3 ring the call drop

vmware wks 5.3 then I downloaded vmware server 2.0.
It is installed ontop of window 2003 enterprise.

1) Upgrade to the latest release of Workstation
2) If you have it uninstall Cisco (or other VPN Client)
3) If you have McAfee or other AV w/firewall try turning this and
windows firewall off
4) can you go from VM - your default GW on your home NW?

The way I understood in the cisco doc with the introduction of local route
groups , you reduce the RP, RL etc, e.g if number of sites to call their local
number you need one RP and one RL point towards the standard local RG , Right ?
If that's the case than a Single RL isn't going to provide
