1) Upgrade to the latest release of Workstation
2) If you have it uninstall Cisco (or other VPN Client)
3) If you have McAfee or other AV w/firewall try turning this and
windows firewall off
4) can you go from VM -> your default GW on your home NW?

vmware wks 5.3 then I downloaded vmware server 2.0.
It is installed ontop of window 2003 enterprise.

Biggest issue right now is that you need 7962/65 to keep up with the
labs such as Vol 1 and also to fully test. IPBlue is not out with a
7962/65 version yet so if I were just starting out I would probably at
least invest in a couple of these to help along the way.

Multiple CIPC only with VMWare.
If you are studying for the Voice IE - CIPC or IPBlue won't really cut
it.
You need some hardware phones. You can route them through your laptop
for VPN software if you can't afford phones and a router/switch for
VPN - but you still need hardware phones.

You can only get multiple CIPC going if you run VMs. I've never seen anyone
manage to get multiple going under one OS. :(

I then uninstall workstation and installed vm server and its is the same thing.

i beleive it is the other way around. The local group would be the 2nd choice
not the 1st. The primary route group (gw) would the 1st in the list.
