You could try leaving the message for the phone w/ cupc, then on the phone
dial the DN of the MWI-off (eg, 1999 in IPexpert labs). I'm not sure if
dialing the MWI off/on number on the phones even touches the CUC server,
but it's possible - if it does sync to CUC in this case then the CUPC MWI

My mistake, in the past a have this error.
The problem was that the ACL for the dmvpn on the router don't allow the subnet
for one block of ip phones.
So I tried to said that my problem was in the router for an ACL misconfigured.

What do you see in the Server Health section in CUPC? Is it
Connecting...? Just a few quick thoughts:
1. Check the domain name in UP Proxy Service settings.
2. Check if your host, on which you run CUPC has the hosts file updated
properly so that it can reach CUPS using its domain name.
I successfully integrated CUSP with UCM and can make phone calls from the CUPC
client, but the client shows Offline (greyed out) rather than Available. Can
someone provide ideas as to what I am missing?

I believe that is your presence settings, try bouncing the SIP trunk and
run the system troubleshooter, it can help you find things that you missed,
if all looks good there, then bounce the Presence server.

The issue is that I can't easily switch between them. When I'm in softphone
mode and click deskphone mode, nothing happens.
In order to force change of mode, I need to restart CUPC each time.

connecting/reconnecting). Other symptom for this is presence status dot in
UI greyed out (instead of green/yellow/red). It seems you can't switch CUPC

Cisco CDP Service is not installed with CUPC, if I remember correctly. but
you could potentially match on SIP and CTI ports for signalling. And then if
you're using CUPC SIP Softclient, you could match on RTP udp ports for
voice, or protocol rtp audio on a router.

I can view status between two CUPC users (i.e status of user1 in CUPC2
the option in the menu)
Or better integrate with ad, search from upc and double click on the
contac :)

Please make sure that you have assigned the CUPC and CUP Capabilities
under System Licensing Capabilities Assignment.
Also check if you have assigned the owner id and the devices are
associated with the user, both the physical phone and CUPC.
