just checked my uptime on my mbp. It's been up 17 days -- that's with my
moving it between work and home. It's put to sleep at least 3 times a day.
My wife's Thinkpad will start acting wonky after 1 or two sleeps. My standard
answer of "reboot" always corrects the problem.

That's because only girls and sissies use Macs.

People don't say they like Apple, they say their world is now complete
and until everyone else switches over they are losers.
I have used Macs recently and it doesn't excite me. Same with using Linux.
But the attitude that if you aren't using an Apple you're life sucks
has not changed in all tho

OS 7.6 timeframe? I was totally a 100% PC guy then and Mac/PC couldn't even
share files
No, I'm saying the Mac user attitude hasn't changed one bit in 15 years.

Order the Adobe Coldfusion Ant
My problem with the Apple haters is that they have to whirl insults around
when someone says that they like Apple. And most of them haven't even tried
the product, or tried it umpteen-odd years ago and are going off bad info.

Its just one more thing that can break. Installing PHP is very easy,
just download the dmg file and run it. AS for CF etc, I use the war
file versions of CF, Railo and Open BlueDragon, using Mod_ajp as the
connector and JBoss as the app server. The entire setup took about 20
minutes to install, bu

That's awesome and I'm glad you and many others found what works for
them. Now please respect my decision to make a different choice.

mock me for not falling for it.
