Already checked the date and it is correct. As for wget, I would love to
use it, but it isn't an authorized piece of software at our company, so I
can't use it.
Does anyone have any other ideas? BTW this is CFMX (not 6.1) we haven't
gotten approval to upgrade from our it dept yet.

Did you reinstall all the datasources?
Goto c:\CFusionMX\bin\connectors and execure IIS-connector.bat
This will re-build your global connectors.
Try CF Administrator again.
If it still does not work, the only other thing I can think of is to uninstall
and reinstall.

certificate wizard is supposed to come up at that point.

This has always been a problem with the web. Not only do you not have
physical security of the device, you can not even be sure that it is the
device you are thinking it may be.
So the only way to protect this is to track the number of login attempts that
go against any invalid User Nam
The point of putting the variable in as a property is so that you never have
to reference the application scope from your code. The entire framework is
in the application scope, so you should never need to reference the scope
explicity.
