I'm about to install a Milodon oil pan on my fresh rebuilt 350. The gasket is a
Fel-pro ( 1-piece ) and it' mad of either silicone or rubber.
My understanding is, I don't need any RTV or similar with this kind of gasket.
Could somebody confirm or correct me?

It is not possible to get the pan out with the motor bolted in
place..even w/o a trans and flexplate attached. You can however
unbolt the motor mounts and lift th eengine a few inches to get it
done. You will not need to remove radiator hoses etc...but depending
on exhaust you may bh

to do get it off, but I've never tried it with the trans out.
