I would find a car with a good rear section, cut yours off and weld the good
one on. Should be an easy fix if it's just the section under the trunk. The
big problem is if this section is rusted out, how bad is the rest of the
frame. It may not be rusted through but it may be in poor condition. I

with a spring under it behind the dash. Compress the button and pull your knob
and shaft out. Then you can unscrew the bezel with whatever you can fit into the

the 2 chevelles I have, 69 70, were both factory vinyl top cars. Both have leaded 1/4 panel to roof seams. The other 70 I have has bondo in the same seam area. That is the only car I have ever seen with bondo in that area. i thought they were all leaded. I guess ya learn something new
The plastic vs steel inner fenders has been discussed several times. I don't think
that there was any particular rhyme or reason to which car got what inners. Whatever
supplier hit the dock on any day and whatever car came down the line, got the inners
