For the routing and switching exams I read both the Sybex and Cisco press
books and found the Cisco press books to be better on both occasions. That
said I've also heard people whose opinions I respect vouch for Sybex so I
suppose it's a matter of what works for you!

It's kind of a pain. I just passed it. Read the Safe whitepaper very
carefully. Pay attention to the way it's worded... The exam is very picky
with some questions and a bit vague on others.
The 2 Boson practice tests help out a lot. I would highly recommend using
them to study with.

When we first did these upgrades on the campus, a couple of ours

I took this exam two weeks ago and had no AppleTalk questions. Spend your
time learning the acronyms and their function, but not the gritty details.
I found that more time is spent on this exam dealing with IPX/SPX than AT.

sde" for 802.10 traffic under the sub-interface on a standard ethernet.

If I want to connect a Cisco 4000 with my Cisco 2500s, can I just use those
normal back-to-back cables that I used for my 2500s? (you know, the ones
with one end as DTE, and the other end is DCE).
Or do I need any special cables for Cisco 4000?
The module that I will be using on 4000

access my one from the console port, no other way of getting access to it.

I personally prefer Peering with Loops myself.. the EBGP multihop command
has absolutley nothing to do with loadbalancing. It it used for peering with
neighbors whom are not directly connected.. There are various ways of
performing BGP load balancing.. Metric..route-maps.. etc.. Pick your flavor.
No this is not correct.
You should not see an entry of 192.168.0.2 in your route table. All you
should see is a route to 192.168.0.2/30 (which means two host addresses).
It looks like you have a subnet mask conflict possibly on the other end. If
you want your configuration to be:
