Hi, yes I once had my platelet count in the millions, but that was a very
long time ago when things were so much different from what they are now. I
was started on both Hydrea and Allopurinol and it took about a month to
get my platelets down, but so did my red and white counts come down as
well.

Just for your information. I recently had that vaccine and it had to be
done in order for me to be on the kidney transplant list. I am listed at
three different transplant hospitals in Florida, and only one had asked
that I get it.
Since I had a bone marrow transplant more then 25 years
moval. I am not sure
