Is there any reason why the mandrake nautilus file share patch is not
applied to the current released version. I see there is an open bug on
nautilus bugzilla regarding this, but not much has happened on it for
months.
The current patch in the RPM should apply with a small amount of
cleaning

Sounds to me like your motherboard has a buggy ACPI implementation, edit
/etc/lilo.conf and add acpi=off in the append= line of the Linux image
setup..

I use Realtek RTL8029(AS) and I cannot connect to the internet.
It works well on mdk9.0, but I can't use it on latest cooker.
acpi=off and pci=noacpi are meanless.

I have the same problem with IBM thinkpad 600. I checked the checksums
