Evolution has been shakey all along. Half the releases didn't build at
all. Ximian just a few days ago responded to my bug report of 2002-02-12

I see plenty of horror stories on the x86 side too, and have experienced

That said, I do appreciate any feedback that's given here. Sometime's the
timing's not right to fully address the issue, but I do what I can.

Another option would be a MacOS based app, like nvsetenv that we use in

Use the correct kernel and initrd. You're using the installer kernel to
boot the system. See the BootX folder for the kernel and initrd to use
for the installed system.

Typically mesh or mac53c94 are good choices on older machines.

I just checked the script and it checks /proc/mounts, rather than fstab,
so to be sure, you should probably call for ext3 specifically.
