Where is the code that sets the db sysconfig ReleaseVersion after
install/upgrade? I've taken a look through the post-upgrade event actions
and seem to be missing where this is coded. It know it is there somewhere,
I'm just blind to seeing where.

Mitel is a commercial business. Mitel acquired significant expertise from
e-smith, not the least of which was a core group of very talented people.
Mitel is moving that expertise to work on Mitel's various commercial
products.

As mirrors now contain multiple rpm versions, this is a little unclear.

requirement to read/write to XML config files. The perl XML rpms

ModIndex. I know the reason I like this is two fold.
1) directory structure placing everything for a rpm/package in on dir
2) descriptions telling people what the rpm/package does.

mod_perl custom template changes. Possibly call it
e-smith-mod_perl-0.0.1-1.noarch.rpm then make it a requirement of your
indexer rpm and bundle the two together. This would make
deployment/installation/removal easier.

rsback rpm. If after testing and evaluation you feel it is not valuable,
then simply say so... but at least take a look first.
If you find it looks promising but needs enhancement, GREAT! Let's work
together to add new features.

welcome devinfo members to improve/enhance this initial beta release. If
you are interested in enhancing, please coordinate your efforts with me
directly so we don't duplicate our time/efforts.
Might be a good development project for everyone to discuss over
my thoughts. Maybe others will confirm/deny the above.

nce I had no idea we were not going to see
a SME5.6B8/9/10... I did not want to begin the updates until there was some
knowledge we were close to a release candidate.
I'll now begin to take a look at all my contribs and update as soon as
possible.
