I went to .MusicMagic, did ls -la, and it returned nothing beyond a "."
and a ".." - I suspect these are directories?
copied mmm.ini to .MusicMagic using (from the
/home/a2/MusicIP/MusicMagicMixer directory)
sudo cp mmm.ini ~/.MusicMagic/
checked using ls -la, and it was now there.

A lot of people use faad without any problem so it may be a build issue
rather faad per se. Your version of faad seems to be very old - 2.5 is
the current version.
You should compare the output of faad between command line and pipe

faad just decodes to WAV. Depending on what the user has chosen SC
will either leave it as WAV, or use Flac to re-encode to Flac or lame
to re-encode into MP3.
SC will normally do MOV->Flac as compressed lossless is most efficient
use of bandwidth and buffering with no loss of quality

Gonna use Foobar to do Replaygain however when I load up Foobar and
scan for Flac files, it comes up with all my files however on some of
the files the duration is stated just by '?'. What is this? How do I

In Firefox 3.0 (released today) on a Mac, The "Home" link in the left
pane of the Fishbone skin flashes strangely and fails to return "home"
only to the "Random Mix" section of the Library. To other areas of the

SlimScrobbler on the website I linked. The author explains that the
version for SC 7.0 combines two plugins: the last.fm and the
SlimScrobbler plugins. After that, you:

and set up using Squeezenetwork but its not saving my music on last.fm
maybe I do need the plugin that has been suggested?

Not sure how it works in Squeezenetwork, but have you configured your
player(s) to send info to last.fm? Go in "settings", click on the
"players" tab, click on the triangle next to basic settings and select
the audioscrobbler option.

I've been trying out last.fm for the past few days. I'm already
subscribed to Pandora, which is great, but last.fm seems to have an
even larger music collection. It can find artists Pandora doesn't know

Well - it took me almost 18 months of daily work, but I have essentially
completed my conversion project. All of my CDs are fully processed. I
went the EAC/FLAC route. I absolutely love the SqueezeCenter server and
my 2 Squeezeboxes. It's a great joy. My Collection stands at 3356
albums/42766 song

The PCMCIA card in the SB1 is non-cardbus, apparently non-cardbus
