What version of SC are you running?
Does you server running SC go to sleep and do these sync problems occur
after it has woken up? In which case you are probably suffering from

Am pleased to see that there is slightly better marketing of SB kit in
PC world in Leeds, a previous thread commented that the boxes (Booms)
were stuck away on a shelf in the Leeds store.
I went in yesterday and there is now a SB classic hooked up to speakers
running a demo plus new signs etc.,
I suppose this is obvious to most people, but it is interesting that I
can control my bedside BOOM (connected to SN) from the iPeng, even from
100s of miles away. With my iPhone using only the celluar network (no
wifi), I can see my BOOM as a player, turn it on, change from headphone
to speaker
Nothing new to write home about... just FYI

An alternative would be to enable SB to play DRM tracks downloaded from
Napster. This would mean the tracks/albums etc would appear in the
music library as normal but (more importantly for me) would also mean
we'd get better quality 192 vs 128Kbits.
Any chance of this?

Hmm, the log show that SC's idea of the players' time epoch is way out
compared with that of the server (probably about 23s at the time you
took the log snapshot). Every few seconds SC adjust its idea of the
players' epochs by 5ms, so it is going to take around 6 hours to get
back in sync.

Look at SageTV line of products. The philosophy is very similar to that
of Slim (server to stream, client to do the playing). They have
hardware client and software client. Transcoding of video takes place
when the format is not supported by the client (older MVP boxes) or the
client is connected

I think these are good thoughts, but don't hold your breath. What you

Agree with previous posts. For those who dont already have amp or dont

But why not just go Duet + Audioengine 5s? Cheaper and already highly
