way was to use MySQL Viewer (I do work some with relational databases so
this is probably a "geek only" option). Using the tools I was able to
locate and modify (in the FLAC tags) the weird genres. Oh, I also used
Album Catalog Creator as a visual veri
inions.) Pick the one you like best. They all function using the same
software! As a matter of fact you can download Squeeze Center and
install their software player, Soft Squeeze, and try it all out. Search
the wiki and the forum for more details on that.

Sounds like your antivirus is causing you the trouble. There are MANY
posts & solutions in the forums, but it comes down to either ignoring
*.MY* files in your antivirus or just disabling your antivirus.

will be boring and labor intensive, every time you do a rescan. I would

I had the same issue, but read a couple of posts in the past that tell
you to change a setting in your tagging software to not change the file
date when updating tags. It seems as most tagging software has that
option. MP3Tag definitely does and made all the difference

music that I picked.

Remember, a computer is not intelligent (neither am I really) but a

IR Blaster installed. This was exactly the problem I had the solution I
