Are you sure you're using the patched DRM?

Make sure the agpgart module is loaded before the radeon DRM module.

I'm not sure if this is any help, but now I get an infinite loop of:
(EE) RADEON(0): RADEONCPGetBuffer: CP GetBuffer -1020
(EE) RADEON(0): GetBuffer timed out, resetting

Neither the patch for the 2.4.18 kernel or the patch for the 2.4.22-pre8 are
working on my box. I didn't forget to select CONFIG_AGP_ATI and I am loading the
drm module

Lots of people want working AGP. I don't see why it needs to wait ?

Matthieu: Does it work for you if you do
modprobe agpgart agp_try_unsupported=1
?
If so, all we need to do to get it working for you without trouble is adding

Steven, thank you for your patch, it works on my box. It's still a little slow
but at least I have some 3d now.

I patched the kernel with the new DRM and IGP AGP stuff and am using XFree86
compiled right from CVS with the patch from here. I'm happy to say it *almost*
works for me.

I patched everything as described by Fredo, but DRI Rendering is still NO. Here
is why (I think), who can have a good guess/tip to solve this?
drmOpenDevice: minor is 0

Please read all comments before posting. Both of you probably need to replace
the DRM module that comes with the 2.4 kernel with the DRM module from the
patched XFree.
