Perhaps it would be better to continue this thread in the forum

Do you drink whisky, bourbon, vodka? Ice cube trays work quite well
for the small components (and the problem of not having ice to go in
your favorite tipple gives an extra incentive to get that K3 finished
quick!) Cheers! :)

to me when monitored on-air. I've monitored the transmission
using both the K2 (which isn't really a good tool for this since its
opposite sideband responses aren't identical either) and the FT-817
which has a fairly wide standard SSB filter and sounds the same on
either sideband.

And at this point I wonder why I need a hobby pursued by people who
can think of nothing better than hurl insults at others who express
opinions they just don't agree with.
I'm out of here, too.

you change from SSB to data
mode? Doesn't the K3 have independent settings for data mode so once
it's set up you just select data and it's all ready to go?

Surely the uploader should do some kind of integrity check, instead of
attempting to upload a duff file to the radio? It's not exactly rocket
science. There's a thing called MD5 that's very good for this...

There should be topless models, of course. The radios, I mean, so we
can see the electronics. :)

You must be a subscriber to post to the list

whose antenna is on a 50 foot mast 50 feet away may never notice a

USPS options are not allowed for international K3 orders because the
