[Elecraft] KX2 for sale

Rig installed in radio-set-go pelican box the radio was factory built by Elecraft and includes ATU and clock. this unit comes with the flexible mic and without a key. Never used in the field or near tobacco. I paid over 600.00 for the radio-set -go by itself. I also will send the KX2 battery

KX2 and KX3 manuals provide no quick practical process to translate the ATU.DATA display into L and C values. EXISTING KX2 [KX3 (errata C5-3)] TEXT: In the ATU.DATA and ATU MD menu entries, tapping ATU shows the present values of L (inductance), C (capacitance) and N (L-network configuration).

When I built an interface using one of the $5 sound USB dongles, I had to insert a pad to avoid overdriving the microphone input of the dongle. I have 1K across the input to the dongle and 47K in series with the input. See Fred Cady's (NE7X RIP) KX3 book pages 119-120 for details. Note that

Rich, I'm using it with my K2 and it has given me no problems whatsoever.   The only issues is that Windows will sometimes arbitrarily change the sound card settings in WSJT-X.   That stopped when I plugged the dongle into a powered USB hub connected to my shack laptop. Neil, KN3ILZ On

The only problem is this configuration uses a Signalink, which is really not needed with a KX2 or KX3.   A cheap Sabrent sound dongle ($15 or less) from Amazon works great, and keeps the computer sounds separate from the WSJT-X audio output.   CAT control would be through the KXUSB cable. Neil,
