Well, somewhat. I haven't tried that in quite a while, but I did
run a couple of experiments pitting stuff like chess master vs
an atari 2600 chess cartridge and a Radio shack dedicated pocket

I've got a HP presario that is equally as troublesome What I do
is press f1 when the start screen comes up and chose text mode
install for some reason. It likes that. (the cdrom drive in this
box often has trouble with home burned cd's )

I just switched to Mandrake from RH.. I started off with the 9.0 beta-4
kernel and then rebuilt the kernel to include usb printing.
I see that there exists a /dev/usb/lp0 but printerdrake does not seem to
find a printer there though the printer is hooked on to the only usb
port I have on
