Well *if* I add the Flex 3k and 5k to the sdr-radio.com console then the
whole caboodle will run remotely - client on your PC at home, radio remote
at the summer palace. I can do this at the moment with RFSpace SDR receivers
and am happy with the initial performance.

My goal with my 3000 is to use it in my remote base and replace my

Thanks - good to know. If - big if - I buy a Flex 5000 it'll be May / June,

tidy up some other logic and add some more features.
I'll write a small program to check that I can indeed talk to a Flex from my

I think it would be OK on most platforms were only your program running;
users then install lots of other 'stuff' and demand that it runs at the same

anti-virus software screwing up the performance of another program.

No
No one gets rich making new, free software for radios they've already sold.
I develop computer software. It's hard to do, it takes forever, and
humans are imperfect machines.
Anyone who can accurately estimate how long a software project will
take has either done the exact same thing before
PATIENCE is a virtue.
PSDR 2.0 will be released soon enough. Probably before the Hamvention and sale
of the Flex 1500.
Gotta love this FREE software. I would not hesitate to pay a subscription fee
like most require. It will have to come to that someday soon.
