Well, this one was my fault. A mistake in /etc/fstab.

Hi.
After some time using freevo-1.6.2, I'm trying to upgrade to 1.7.2. I'm doing
it in a new partition with LFS, so I'm installing everything from source. I'm
using my old local_conf.py as a base, so I have already more or less what I
want, but I have some problems:

This is not about recording. You really can't watch any tv channel when the
guide is corrupt.

Right! This is what I was looking for.
Now I just have to test it...

Hi.
Recently, I've seen somewhere a software to record an X session. I know about
xvidcap, but it eats a lot of cpu. The software I saw used some layer of the
X protocol, and it sounded to be quite good. I thought that I had seen it
here, but I can't find it. But I've seen the video of freevo2,
Hi.
I have freevo 1.6.3 running in a debian box. I'm quite happy with it, but I'm
also a LFS user, so I want to switch to LFS to run freevo. Why? Well, LFS is
less bloated and my feeling is that it runs faster. LFS users understand
me...
The point is that I have a spare partition in my freevo b

Hi.
After some problems with 1.6.1, I decided to give 1.6.2 a try. Everything
seems to work well, but a I have a question.
In 1.5.4 everytime I entered a new folder, I saw the "Scanning folder" message
(more or less, I see it in Spanish). And if the folder never changed, I never
see that messag

Oh, Thanks.
I messed things... But, seeing that 1.6.1 has some bugs too, would you suggest
me using 1.7.0rc1? It has some interesting features. Does it work with python
2.4?
Hi.
I'm tryin to upgrade my freevo-1.5.4 box to 1.6.1, and I've run into some
problems:
- I can't build mmpython-0.4.10. I can't post here any logs, because I've lost
the net connection to the box, but I get a gcc error. It's using debian
sarge. So I'm using the old mmpython-0.4.8 (9?). Freevo-

Hi.
You can configure it. Pressing E on the folder, you can configure it (it's
an option). There, you can choose using MediaId tags or not.
