Hi Thanks for the reply i really do not know why i did not think of it.
Used the F1 key to dim the brightness on just the lcd and now i can
close the lid and sit it under the studio display.

I currently use an orinoco gold card for wireless on my lombard and have on
the way a belkin wireless card for use on a second laptop. has anyone used
one of these belkin cards and if so what drivers do they use,as the drivers
that you get with them are PC only.
As an Apple Certified Technician I can assure you that if you sent that
machine to my shop I wouldn't have looked at that printout for more than a
second and then I would have gone about my merry way troubleshooting it with
*real* utilities. Not lightweight consumer stuff like Techtool.
