Hi guys,
I've got a dynamic IP and I run a web server (I also
use dynamic dns). I bought a domain name and I use
zoneedit.com as my dns server. My question is, is it
possible to have my domain take the traffic to my
dynamic IP (without me having to do it manually
everytime my IP changes), and for

Here is a nice trick. Want to know which package the executables tic, tack
and toe belong to? Just do the following (those a backtick not single
quotes):
~ $ epm -qf `type -p tic`
ncurses-5.3-r1
~ $ epm -qf `type -p tac`
textutils-2.1
~ $ epm -qf `type -p toe`
Well, it works now. I set the dvb (Digital Video Broadcasting) USE
variable. Maybe that was it, at least I think I tried the command
bcast2000 (not bcast) before.
Thanks, Nathan.

Apparently neither you nor Dhruba have seen the kde-gnome LiveCDs. All of

I am using x86-1.4-20030803-cd1.iso to install right now, and it has no

If you can, it's best to use CVS or the latest snapshot off their site
(www.kvirc.de). Beta2 is way behind development. This is a bit more
complicated than just installing through portage, but you'll have a newer,
better KvIRC that way.

Out of interest what video drivers are you using?? If you are using the
nvidia driver and a frame buffer for the kernel boot up then this is a known
problem (its in the nvidia readme's). It is caused as two kernel drivers both

I'm trying to emerge xfree-drm on an older machine, but I'm getting a

I've tried putting VIDEO_CARDS in make.conf, and I've tried it in the emerge

it gone? It was supported in the 2.4.20-r5 kernel
Can you tell us more about that card?

Look under /usr/src/your kernel version/drivers/media/video for the
