The limited elevator was but apart of it. The controls were another very big
part of it. Also there were no springs between them. There was a mixing
bellcrank under the baggage bag. It was all hard connected with rod

The soap will break the surface tension of the water and help it find
smaller holes. Another possibility is to use windshield washer fluid. it
already has the soap and the alcohol will further reduce surface tension.

I just saw on Darren Compton's site that he appeared to actually "screw" 2 X

The removable turtle deck that Neil Bingham built had some small alumn.
angle bonded or screwed or both to the longeron. The angle was inset just
enough for the turtle deck to fit against it and be flush with the fuse.

Try gun blue, you can get a smell kit @ WalMart or a gun store. It can rust
with constant exposure to Moisture but does a good job of protecting against
every day humidty ect.
