I have the Carrickmacross book by Nellie O'Cleirigh it is a good book for
the history of Carrickmacross and has quite a lot of patterns but it has
only 7 pages on the actual technique so I would not recommend it as a
teaching book, but a good book nevertheless.

They call it Scoobidou Faye it's done with 'plastic cords' and

I found this very interesting and had never ever seen or heard this

year bought several colours in guttermans 100/3 and designed and worked a

I was thinking (I do occasionally) - is there any clue to be obtained from

Two months ago I started work on one of Alex Stillwells bucks pieces. I
wanted a hanky edge and this appealed to my senses very well.
Well done Sue. It looks good. Corners within a piece often vary slightly,
don't worry - it's part of the course. Enjoy making your lace
to be
done there I guess. I will add a picture of the corner into the arachne
folder named hurwitzend.
