I have had Legacy for several years but have never put in any information about Sources. I think when I got the programme initially it was just to keep a record of my family. I have only recently subscribed to this list (other than logging on when I had a couple of problems and then logging off -

Have you checked whether these people are in your database twice? Since you've merged a file, the merge might not have been completed leaving you with two copies. If they are duplicated they'll have different RINs so check the RIN associated with the address and the RIN of the same person

Hi Kirsten: That was the reason I switched from FTM to Legacy. Apparently attaching photos to FTM continually makes the database larger and larger (at least back in FTM 2005). But because Legacy only *links* to each photo, your database stays the same size whether you have photos attached or not.

Hi Pat, Not as far as I know. You need to use your tagged list and go in and remove the sources individually. This is easiest done in the Name List/Search List. Show the group you've tagged and bring the Source tab to the front and just work down it. Probably it could be done in Access but I

Some people do it more like this: Smith County (probably), Tennessee It sorts to the right spot that way. The only downside is that if you reference that county frequently, the probably version comes up first, and you have to type a little more to get the plain old Smith County, Tennessee
