I have been trying to figure out how I can paste a set of text into a
table within Lyx.
For example, if I have a set of numbers:
1 2 3
4 5 6
I would like to be able to highlight this (let's say in a text file) and
then paste it into a table that is 2 rows by 3 columns

I would like that when a table is created the SGML output can contain a
, especially when long tables are used.
In the GUI, long table heads can be defined (so something can be done
for docbook) but there's nothing for normal tables. Maybe it should be
provided too.

Why is it that tables are not rendered properly when the LinuxDoc
template is used? When rendered, the cell values are simply placed one
after another on a single line with no table regardless of output format.

The problem is that the 1st and 3rd cells has invalid multi-column alignment
values. Press the 2nd mouse button on the 1st cell, goto the 'cell' tab,

I am using LyX 1.1.6fix1 in both windows and linux. When I create a table in
lyx/windows I am unable to open it correctly in lyx/linux - the table
appears empty and all the lyx source code for the table appears outside the
