I was going to buy a Soundprofessional AT 853 mic soon. I've heard this is a great
sounding mic, but would this also be the solution to the clipping problem? Also, is
this one of the best for recording loud indoor (and outdoor) gigs

and was wondering if anyones tried them? I'm not sure how much they're

What type of timer works with these Sony decks? Is it a special model
you buy from Sony? Surely it's not a kitchen timer that cuts the power
on, since the deck has to be powered the whole time it's on standby.
What model, make, price, where does one get a timer as described?

jack on one end, put a cord and plug on the other end and plug it into the
line input. The mike doesn't care where the power comes from. This way

S/PDIF output of the Samsung CDROM drive so I could try the drag-and-drop CD
