Good estimate, 750. Is that the book spec? I've found it depends on the particular engine. Some of them idle smooth at 500-600, some have to be 700-800. If you have to get it much higher than that before it smooths out, you have an issue somewhere else that needs to be addressed. Every OM 617 I h
