I rode my bike over to Cars & Coffee this morning, it was fairly warm.  Lots of cars there, and interesting mix.  Only 1 Benz, an AMG GT that belongs to some kinda greasy/swarthy looking guys with man buns who started a high-end shop, they deal in some high-end iron too.  They had been there

I tried that, it just bunches up at one side. I guess I will try the starting fluid trick but am going to have to go down and buy some. The cam I have just pisses a stream out instead of spraying out like it should. Sent from my iPhone > On Feb 17, 2018, at 10:22 AM, G Mann via Mercedes

I am trying to mount this new set of tires on this 240d. They were strapped together for shipping which compressed the sidewalls down to about an inch of each other. I can’t get the damn things to seat on the rims. The bead blaster on my tires machine does not seem to be helping. Any ideas?

I pretty much concur with Peter, but I like to spray/apply adhesive to the parts separately. I mask off the hood and cover the engine compartment with an old sheet. I have a roll of butcher’s paper I put down on the floor where I place the pad and spray it. Once everything sets up (five

It's been a while since we had this topic discussed, so here's the drill: 3M 8090 only, don't use anything else -- for two reasons: It stays up, and you can get it back off. Liquid nails will work, but is pure hell to clean off enough to get a new pad to stay up, I had this on the old 300D.
