You can test the servo with a MitiVac -- supply line is brown and servo line is brown with a blue stripe I think. It is on the W123 and W115 anyway. Problems are: Bad servo (won't pull down with vac application, won't hold vac) -- to fix, replace servo. Bad line from the main vac line, or

Well got done with dinner and headed home.  It was dark and I then discovered I had no dash lights.  I guess I get to pull the cluster tomorrow and fix the pot.  I also had no tag lights so I stopped at wally world to buy some Dot 4 and some new bulbs. Fixed the tag lights in the parking lot.

I got the intake manifold off the E$500 diesel. Wasn’t too hard. Next time will take 10min rather than 30. Took off the EGR valve which was all coked up, it is nice and clean now and sucks good. I’m trying to decide if doing anything to the manifold is worth the bother or just get as much gunk

Ratchet strap around the center of the tread will cause the tire bead to balloon up to catch the rim. BTDT a bunch with equipment tires that are super stiff, for example. Also, paint the bead with Ruglide [rubber lubricant] or dish soap, which gives you a little advantage to seat the bead and

It's been a while since we had this topic discussed, so here's the drill: 3M 8090 only, don't use anything else -- for two reasons: It stays up, and you can get it back off. Liquid nails will work, but is pure hell to clean off enough to get a new pad to stay up, I had this on the old 300D.
