That was a 47uf @ 250V electrolytic on the power supply. No problems finding that one. The one listed below is across the flyback, hence the value and voltage (1600V) that makes it difficult to sub. I think it's a film or polyester cap - it's one of the little phenolic blocks, for lack of a bett

Just snagged a 32" CRT Philips set off of Freecycle that is dead. Powers up (the relay clicks) but no joy. Already checked the power supply rectifiers and filter cap - good. Main fuse is intact as well. Any other suggestions, or resources? I haven't found much on the Web, surprisingly enough.

The best resolution right now is the 1080i. It's has a resolution of 1920 by 1080 which is just under the resolution of 16 mm film( 1600 by 1156 ). You can adjust your monitor on your computer to see the difference. Picture quality will go down i.e. 720i is 1920 by 720. The old picture quality
