Sounds Like you may need to move the cdrom to the second IDE port. Make it
clame master, and make shure the harddrive on IDE 1 is clamming master. I
have noticed the some times even thoung the cdrom is compatable if you have
them on the same IDE chanel that will give it an eror that it can't
