finalmente la MDK 9.0 è arrivata nei negozi! Prima di procedere
all'installazione, vorrei però alcune informazioni... (GRAZIE!)
Per imparare una cosa nuova, vorrei stavolta eseguire il backup dei dati
della mia partizione /home da linea di comando. Ho letto le pagine man dei

Avendo acquistato il PowerPack, nei CD c'è anche StarOffice 6... qualcuno lo
ha già provato? Sa dirmi se ci sono differenze rilevanti rispetto ad
OpenOffice? La compatibilità tra i due programmi? (posso scambiare
tranquillamente documenti tra SO ed OO?)

I have been trying to compile new kde apps which all fail at the ./configure
saying qt can't be found. I upgraded to libqt3 from texstar and have both
packages installed. So why can't the includes be found?

Glabels is a pretty nice program, just about any label including CD
labels. Look for in MDK contributions on any server.

Unfortunately the cd rom is not bootable. I booted from the
floppy and typed rescue at the prompt but none of the available options seem
to be of any help I can list the file systems on each hd but that just
confirms what I already know.

driver courtesy of the good people at MBSI to work my winmodem. The
documentation says this enables access to the modem as ttySHCF0. Kppp was
using /dev/modem as a symlink to ttyS0, so I changed that to
