I can't resist.
As for what RedHat is or has been attempting I can say that regardless, of
motives many, in general I mean, feel Linux-Mandrake, SUSE, etc are better
desktop compared to RedHat who has pretty much just made a presents, but
hardly seems to be promoting themselves as such.

Sometimes the answer is the most obvious one. Generally, speaking people
usually don't see or ignore the obvious.
It took me a while before figuring that out. I won't say how long since I am
still embarrassed by it.

I know the feeling. If an OT gets started and followed by a very passionate

back to the beginning to find out what is going on.

I have to say, you are far too harsh on yourself. You are one of few who has

I agree with most of Dvorak's comments. I am concerned that if Linux were to

Every Linux distro I have and used has been bought. Primarily because
downloading any of them is not feasible with my dial up connection and the
users who want to go online. If I had a high speed connection then, honestly
speaking, would download Linux for free.

You make a very interesting point and I think I can follow up with an

I live near a huge electronic store called Fry's Electronic. I have

My two cents.

That is the exact set up in my own home. Windows is the mainstream since

I managed to answer my own question. The problem is that for whatever reason

misery. My first PC was a HP7170 Pavilion. I was amazed
