I can help with your RPM problem but sound is probably a limitation in the soundcard and how it is used in Linux. For an RPM, if you want to know where the runnable app has gone, hit alt+f2 and then type in kpackage. Once opened, use the search function to look for the rpm, then you can

Ok, this is my first installation from a tar.gz file, so it's all a bit complicated. I decided to take on a nice easy simple installation that would really help me - imwheel - which enables the wheel on your mouse. So, I managed to gzip and then tar, which created a directory. I cd'ed into

Well I have my small network up and running. I have gotten a copy of Partition Magic and have installed Linux and Win 98 on a couple of the systems. Haveing trouble with one. It has a scsi cdrom in it. Can't boot to it. Plus Linux doesn't reconize the 1505 card. Also I want to install star
