Hello list, I made the jump up to 9.0 hoping that I would be able to install rox with no problems...however that is not the case. I downloaded both rox-1.3.3-1mdk.src.rpm and rox-1.3.4-1mdk.src.rpm (1.3.4 being a cooker package). First I ran rpm --rebuild rox-1.3.3-1mdk.src.rpm (and also tried

Greetings all, I installed Mandrake 9 last week, and I have almost nothing to complain about. However, I have managed to frell something up already -- or found a bug, take your pick. I decided to get my rear speakers to work, so I went looking at the mixer settings, the aRts soundserver, the

[newbie] LM 9 and RealPlayer 8

Has anyone installed RealPlayer 8 with LM 9 yet? The last time I installed realplayer was with LM 8.1 and it took over lots of my file associations and didn't want to give them back. Is this still the case or will it allow me to keep my file associations I have presently intact? Thanks, --

Several of my GNU/Linux native games from a variety of vendors (Loki, LGP, etc) had problems installing from the CD-ROM as well. When I disabled supermount, they all installed flawlessly. Something is definitely up with supermount. But it seems to be working fine for small day-to-day tasks.

I haven't tried it with 9 yet, but I use it with 8.2 and it has never changed a file association on my system. Are you sure you're not confusing the Linux version with the Winsux version? The Winsux version really does want to take over the world. Miark Jonathan Dlouhy [EMAIL PROTECTED]
