I installed the rpm then as root ran hcfpciconfig which led me
through the configuration. (Mandrake Control Centre still doesn't
recognise my modem.)
I don't know whether this applies to hsf modems, but it may do.

With this setup, the windows share is mounted on boot. I can read the
mounted dir as any user, but can only write to it as user root. I'm

I couldnt find a src.rpm for this package...i did however find a spec file
which is what you use to build a src.rpm inside the CVS from sourceforge.net
i can send the specfile and tarball and instructions on how to build your rpm

If you don't have any success with the agfa packages try installing the
gphoto2 package via the Software Manager in Mandrake Control Panel.
I have a Nikon 880 USB camera and got things working fine using GTkam
which is part of this package.
