A question about blue tooth for a amplifier and speakers

2014-08-31 Thread Johny Cassidy
Hi there I'm wondering if there's a way to attach a blue tooth controller to my amp and speakers. I've a Cambridge amp with Mission speakers. I don't have a DAB radio, but can listen to Digital through my iPhone, which will come through the amp when attach via USB. I'm sure there's a way

Hi Johny, Yes. You can connect the Miccus home RTX transmitter/receiver or the like to your amp and pair it with your iPhone. This would enable you to hear the audio from your iPhone on the speakers attached to the amp. We have it for $55.99 USD and you can read about it here: http

That sounds just about right. I don't know if that price was exact It's not too far from what I recall US ppricing to be. I've heard them and they are good. I just preferred the Companion 5 multimedia speakers. -Original Message- From: Pc-audio [mailto:pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org

I'm not at all surprised if what you said also applied to these speakers to be honest, let's put it this way, there are some people who have gorwn up with a Boombox sound, and they know nothing better, that's their thing of course, so long as they're happy then that's what matters but there's

I'm a little confused here. Are you saying there are full-range speakers of the same size and price? How does one define full-range? In my experience, it is very rare that one can simply choose between full-range and boombox sound with size and price remaining constant. I have not heard

I bought a set of klipsch speakers for $149 U.S. It's a 2.1 system and, for the price, the range is great. I have, however, found out since I've switched computers that you need a good sound card to drive them. Just my two cents worth. Dan -Original Message- From: Pc-audio [mailto:pc

Would depend on the type of music you listen too. Some types of music use very low frequencies. If you really want to test a sound system play a good pipe organ recording through it. Bookshelf speakers for example cannot handle those low notes. Also I think you will find very few systems
